Tutoring is a profession where it is necessary to acknowledge that every student is different from the other. Therefore, the first responsibility as a tutor is understanding his/her students. As an engineering student I have learned approaching things differently and analyzing all the possibilities for figuring out solutions. Before starting my undergrad degree, I completed Edexcel ( an international UK based education board) General Certificate of Secondary Education with courses such as Physics, Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, English, Chemistry, etc. and Edexcel International Advanced Level with courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Pure Mathematics. Hence, I am interested in giving Physics and Maths lesson to high school students as I know the methods for excelling these subjects. My methods of tutoring would be organized. In the beginning I would asses the student to identify his academic situation on a particular subject, and then I would assist the student in finishing his syllabus while taking subject-wise tests at regular intervals. Later, I would take few mock tests on the syllabus to prepare the student for exams.
I have had a couple of years of experience in teaching profession. Since I was grade 12, I have been giving private lessons to students of my grade or below. Additionally, I used to be my Physics and Maths teachers' assistant when I started grade 11. As a teacher's assistant my main responsibilities were to check test papers and assist students who needed extra attention. Therefore I used my experience as a teacher's assistant to give private lessons to students. I gave private lessons to three high-school students, and one mid-school student. Under my guidance, their results had drastically improved. Initially, my students had issues with concepts and were struggling to finish their syllabuses. I nurtured them to finish their courses with outstanding results. What would make me different than other tutors? I love teaching others, and I believe in spreading knowledge. Hence, I understand what my students need and take extra care of their studies.
