My lessons incorporate the techniques that have helped me as well as what I've learned are the tricks to success in exams. The sessions are very personalised, adapted to the texts students are being taught in their classes and with a strong focus on essay writing, knowledge of literary techniques and efficiency in test taking. I provide students with resources such as practice essay questions and creative writing prompts and teach them how to approach these with a method that'll set them on the path to success.
I graduated high school with a score of 98% in English Literature in 2017 and partook in the Purposeful Academic Classes for Excelling Students at Curtin University in the subject to guarantee excellence in the what I teach. In addition, as a library volunteer and displays person I am knowledgeable and have access to a wide variety of texts that make being familiar with each student's content much easier. I have babysitting and tutoring experience and have worked with kids leading and cooperating in projects as well as various clubs. I have an advantage in that having only recently graduated high school I have gone through the experience myself, I'm incredibly familiar with the curriculum and the set up of ATAR/WACE examinations.
To keep rates low, I teach from my home in Currambine or the State Library of Western Australia.
