I work hard to be an ideal tutor. An ideal tutor is personable and accommodating. They are able to recognise a student's ideal learning style and deliver the learning content effectively. They will speak and explain concepts clearly and believe that there are no "stupid questions", as all questions are used to increase learning. They encourage and nurture a student while helping them to be the most confident student they can be!
Please contact me if I sound like the tutor for you!
My name is Gabriela. I moved from Western Australia to Melbourne in 2015. In Western Australia, I graduated from John Curtin College of the Arts in 2011. I then undertook a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Western Australia, where I specialised in Modern History, and also studied Literature, Criminology and French.
Upon moving to Melbourne I commenced a Bachelor in Criminology and Psychology at RMIT, from which I graduated with Distinction in 2017. I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Criminology and Justice (Honours), also at RMIT, achieving a Grade Point Average of 4/4 and a Weighted Average Mark of 86/100.
I have worked as a private tutor for high school students, as well as worked with RMIT Undergraduate students.
I am personable, friendly, and keen to help every student gain the level of confidence they need to succeed in their studies. I believe that confidence and commitment are the keys to academic success.
I have excellent time management and organisation skills and would like to teach other students these skills in order to help them manage their studies and stay well-prepared.
I believe that my communication skills, academic achievement, motivation and organisation skills make me a suitable tutor.
