I’m a literary person with many years of experience in the field of writing and editing. English is a passion of mine. I’ve tutored students of all ages and abilities and from diverse backgrounds. Although most of those I tutor are either primary or high school students, I also tutor university students occasionally, both international and domestic. I’m able to easily adapt my teaching methodology to suit the individual requirements of the student. During the first session, I work out with the student what areas they wish to improve or focus on, and we progress from there.
I studied Professional Writing and Editing at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), and since graduation in 2007 I’ve written countless articles and several books. I love to read and write and consider myself a literary person. Furthermore, I enjoy passing on the skills and knowledge I’ve acquired in this area to others.
For several years now I’ve assisted primary, high school and university students with grammar, essay writing, reading comprehension, literary analysis, oral presentation and other skills.
I’m conscientious, a good listener, passionate about teaching, and I always go the extra mile when it comes to assisting others. I’m inspired when I see students flourish under my tutelage.

Prior to becoming a professional tutor, I worked primarily in the area of finance. My most recent role was as a customer service representative with the Australian Taxation Office, which involved dealing with complex inquiries related to taxation (GST, FBT, PAYG, debt) as well as processing correspondence (tax returns, notifications of death, etc.)
I’m the author of three books and countless articles. I write both fiction and non-fiction, but my main passion is science-fiction. My articles and other pieces have appeared in Fortean Times, Nexus, New Dawn and other publications, and my books include Dark Intrusions (Anomalist Books, 2009), The Secret Influence of the Moon (Destiny Books, 2013), and Strange Electromagnetic Dimensions (New Page Books, 2015).
