Filippo Bianchini was born in Oriveto but spent his first eight years in Rome. He became interested in music at 7 years listening to the record of his father and a family friend, Alberto Casaoli. A '10, he learned to play the tenor saxophone. May long after, he took his first music lessons at Mauro Verrone, famous Roman saxophonist. It is with him that découvrie the jazz greats Charlie Parker, Lester Young, John Coltrane, Miles Davis and many others. Then the encounter with the music of Massimo Urbani, leads him to devote all his energy to the study of the saxophone. A '18 he enrolled in saxophone at Mario Raja at the Conservatory F. Morlacchi of Perugia, where he obtained her degree with great distinction (10/10) in June 2007. In September 2007 he decided to continue his studies the Netherlands, the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Here he has the opportunity to work with one of the best musicians in Europe: American saxophonist and clarinetist John Ruocco. In 2013, he completed his studies at the Conservatory of The Hague and obtained a Masters in Jazz Saxophone. He also studied with David Libman, John Ellis, Barry Harris, Simon Righter, Max Ionata, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Rosario Giuliani, Bob Mover, Tivonne Pennicott, Reggie Workman, Mike Manieri, Teddy Charles, Greg Hutchinson, Gilad Hekselman, Joshua Redman, Aaron Parks, Chris Cheek, Billy Harper, Joel Frahm, Donny McCaslin and many others. A 'from September 2013, he moved to Brussels where he worked in various formations, sometimes as leader, and sometimes entant as side-man. In July 2014 he recorded his first solo album '' Disorder at the Border '' with a group of exception: Nicola Andrioli, e Armando Luongo Jean-Louis Rassinfosse. He won numerous awards such as Jimmy Wood Award 2012 -Tuscia Fest- in Jazz as the best saxophonist and best group. He arrives at the final selection of Vittoria Rotary Jazz Award 2012 and also in Fara Sabina Jazz Competition 2009-2011. He played in several festivals.
