I aim for a friendly and interactive environment where students can freely interact and provide ideas. Flute lessons will include: warming up activities, technical skills, a range of repertoires, duets, opportunities to perform in front of an audience, and many more.
I believe students achieve a great outcome when they enjoy learning. Students will engage in activities that will lead them to enjoy and like music learning. The great learning process will lead to the greater outcomes.

I've known Joanne for four years and from those four years of knowing her, I got to know her character as a friend. She has compassion for others, patient, kind and will always do her best to offer help. These are important as a teacher, as you're dealing with students with different emotional baggages. She is also passionate and skilled with her craft. With her hard work and talent, she makes an excellent music teacher and incredible flautist. She finds ways to explain concepts that will suit the learner. Lastly, she is reliable and honest.
Joanne has been teaching flute since 2012, including tutoring in public schools. She has really good understanding in teaching methodologies as well, knowing that her completion on her Bachelor's honours degree in Music education. Her performance was quite awesome too, which was witnessed by a bunch of audience at her Honours graduation recital in early 2018.
Joanne is an amazing teacher who not only helps students improve their technical skills but who also helps them to enjoy and appreciate music more.
