I can teach maths and physics to high school student and Electrical Engineering Undergrad subject to Uni students. I have deep understanding and concepts of Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Calculus.
I am a motivated, energetic university student who is passionate about mathematics! As someone who struggled with maths in primary and high school, I love finding ways to talk about/teach maths that make the subject exciting and interesting for individual students (rather than the classic lectures style used in a school setting).
I first look to engage with a student, with a view to identifying their scholastic strengths and weaknesses, and their areas of personal interest, and how to best provide support. Lessons then comprise assisting in those required areas, and also reviewing the past week's class work and homework with the student.
I am a very easygoing and patient person willing to teach anyone who is willing to learn. My lesson structure is simple, 1. review of the subject, 2. practice problems, 3. detailed review of most difficult themes in subject, 4. testing of subject to assure comprehension. The best advice I can give to any student: no question is a dumb question.
I am a technology enthusiast with a passion for teaching.I have had the experience of working with high achieving students as well as with students requiring extra care to succeed academically.I try to tailor the lessons according to the needs of my students.
I am a Master of Engineering (Electrical) student at the University of Melbourne. I have 8 years of teaching experience in teaching Maths and Physics. I was a teaching assistant during my tenure of 1.5 years in IIT Kanpur, India.
I begin by finding out what you know and what needs to be learnt, I then set out a plan for how we will get there. I am a patient and understanding teacher, with a focus on understanding key concepts thoroughly before moving on to more advanced topics. I tailor all my lessons to the individual student and their learning style.
I prefer using interactive teaching methods to ensure that the student understand all relevant concept on the topic before moving to the next chapter. I provide examples and work through the questions with the students to ensure that I am able to maximize understanding of the concepts by the student. I also conduct homework checks and go through in detail questions that students are unsure about.
Maths is a subject that requires solid foundations. In my first lesson or two I like to assess if students have understood their basics well and then I move onto building new concepts. I appreciate students with varying personalities, I use a mixed technique of bringing technology and real life examples for students to appreciate the lessons.
To seek opportunities where my experience can be utilised in analysis, reporting, resource planning and customer contact together with my academic qualification in a versatile Economics and Finance skills role where numerical skills, multi-tasking and performance optimisation skills can be employed.
My teaching method is basing on their learning level and learning the ability to scaffold and motive their learning. I believe learning is a life-long activity, which means students need to learn how to learn through self-learning and self- managing.
I tend to approach each topic within chemistry individually over a set period of time, rather than compressing them into a short time frame. I would hold a test each week assessing everything taught during that time. This ensures that my students will understand and apply the topics I am teaching.
I really like finding out what is hindering students to learn particular topics and helping them to overcome that problem because I find that so many students are really bright but may just have difficulty understanding a topic at school because of the way in which it has been explained to them or because they lack confidence in that subject area.
I can meet students at their house or in a library. I go through the textbook/homework of the students where they have difficulty. I am very good at explaining mathematics concepts at an understandable way. I will test to make sure they fully understand the topic.
My only approach of teaching is focusing of content with a simple approach that makes student to understand easily
My teaching method is making sure the student has a very strong foundation before going forward and then continuing to build on this. I believe if a student has a strong foundation then they will find it a lot easier to grasp tasks and see how everything fits together.
My teaching method is learn while you play. Its full of activity and fun based. Students enjoy doing Math and Computers and starts loving it. The Math phobia is vanished.
My teaching method is quite practical. I usually give a practical example to make them understand the concept. I make use of many simple and day to day life examples. I always like a two way interaction in the class.
I am a personal tutor working on an appointment basis. The teaching is primarily focused from year 6 to year 10. The course would run in parallel to the school curriculum and booster classes are held to cover up topics that are lagging.
I will teach you the content in a way that i know works, giving you advice and tips which i have picked up along my Year 12 journey. Homework may be issued and i'll be there for help with any questions you cannot do.
My teaching method is to make the students aware of the upcoming topic before hand so that they have some knowledge about what is going to come their way when they delve into the topic, and consequently mind perceives and stores details in a better organised way which is helpful for the student to recall the learned stuff whenever needed.
I'll make sure student understand the basic principals behind each question before letting them do it… making sure that students can really apply what they learned rather just using formulas…but of course, there will be tons of question examples~
While I like to consult with the student and/or parents regarding what best suits, my usual methodology is based around encouraging a mathematical understanding of the concepts required, and enthusing the student with the beauty of mathematics.
My teaching method is more to discussion where I like the students to be involved when I was explaining the topics to make sure that the students understand. I will be discussing the topics that the students currently have in school and focus more on the topics that they do not understand.
I tend to teach a topic in a very systematic way such that the student would understand the underlying concept of the subject. I try to make the student understand the topics in a way that they can apply the concepts on their own in different situations and not just to score good results in their exams.
My teaching method is to try to help my students grasp the idea/concept of the subjects. I expect students that are proactive in asking question. I believe that everyone could learn anything, it's just a matter of time and patience.
In my 4 years of tutoring students studying Maths Methods, Specialist Maths and Physics, my goal has always been to help students become independent learners and increase their confidence in maths through positive reinforcement. I provide constructive feedback and regular monitoring of progress to ensure my students achieve their goals.
I possess a positive attitude and a passion for assisting struggling learners. A typical lesson structure will incorporate a fun and effective way for students to learn a particular topic. Also, the structure of the lesson will change according to the different needs of the students.

My teaching method will be very systematic and structured. For the first few lessons will be a 'get to know' session, where i will roughly estimate their capabilities and weaknesses. I will plan accordingly to fit their needs for the weaker topics. I will keep up with their institution's pace. I will take note of any incoming quizzes, test or exams to coordinate with their learning curve.
