My teaching method focuses on assess every single student (How to do it?). But the most important thing is for a future teacher is "How to teach". My aimfocuses not only on the content but also on different methodologies to approach the student.
I am a very easy going and patient person so i tailor my lessons so that the student feels comfortable to talk to me and i am able to gain the trust of the student as to what I'm teaching them. During my lessons, i don't just tell the student what they need to fix,i tell them why they need to fix it and how it will help them become a better swimmer.
I have experience with teaching introductory learn-to-swim level swimmers with no prior swimming ability or experience and focus on basic stroke development and water safety. I also have experience with coaching competitive squad or pre-squad level swimmers, with a focus on technique perfection and race skills and strategies.
Practice and the right technique makes you perfect.
My teaching method is by creating fun classes. I want my student to find learning a language fun! My lessons are directed towards anyone who needs help in French or English no matter your age.
The methodology that I use in my classes is based on the particular characteristics of the students. My classes always begin with a familiarization of the environment, that is, familiarization with the water. For many people this is a new environment, that's why taking our nerves out and being calm in the water it is going to be our first goal for biguinners swimmers.
My teaching method is staying calm, focused and safe as I would want my participants s to feel like they wont be stressed or unsafe. I would base my classes on a step by step layout of a warm up and then teaching the basics to intermediate. I approach topics by reassurance and confidence as safely as possible and to give the knowledge people need.
Water confidence is a must to start with, so we would start with water confidence. then move on to basic breathing skills and stroke work. At all times working at your pace. I am easy going and patient, so happiness is also a key to helping you learn to swim. Then depending on your skill levels, would depend on what we would do next.
I base my classes on getting to know the students strengths and weaknesses and improving all aspects of their abilities. This is achieved through altering my generalised swimming plans to suit the needs of the students, even within teaching groups.
it really depends on the students, I can be firm with a child if they are mucking around (as safety in the water is very important) but if a child is shy or scared I can be quite soft. I am also trained to be focused on technique more so than water safety but I can provide water safety in the pool.
my teaching method vary depending on the childs ability but my main focus is for student to feel safe and comfortable in the water, for them to be able to get themselves out of trouble and to develop their swimming skills
Typically I gain a feeling for the personalities and behaviours of the children I am looking out for and appeal to their emotions by instinct. I strive to make the environment as fun as possible for the children while giving constant encouragement. Of course, I maintain an attitude directed toward ensuring progress of the childrens' technique but also making sure the experience is positive.
I like taking an approach that is specific and dependant on each child meaning some lessons may be structured to the parents/guardians' judgement/desire, the child's immediate interest and my best judgement.
My teaching methods pulled from my experience with children and practicums, I love to get to know the children, what they like and don't like, how they learn and what their interest is. By getting to know children at a personal level, I can adapt my teaching style to each child, helping each child grow. I love getting to know students. They inspire me and remind me why I am doing my degree.
My teaching method is patient and simple for beginners to advanced. I have great and easy techniques for first time swimmers of all ages and I make sure you feel safe and confident. I prefer to teach one on one so my sole focus is on you.
To me, the most important part of swimming is the enjoyment of it. My lessons are customized to suit the needs, abilities and concerns of the individual. My main goal is to make you feel safe, comfortable and to enjoy your aquatic experience. Once we establish this feeling, we have also created an environment were learning new skills comes easily and naturally.
my teaching method is solely based on stroke correction, endurance and speed work. I try to incorporate many different styles of teaching, so that every students has an equal opportunity. i include games and fun activities to keep students engaged.
Whenever I teach I try to personalise my methodology as much as possible to the makeup of the class. Everybody is different and respond and learn from different types of stimuli, it's important to cater to differences otherwise proper learning will not be done.
I am a very practical teacher. While I may rely on some aspects of theoretical learning to guide my lessons, I heavily rely on a practical approach to apply theoretical concepts.
I started by giving simple lessons and do not rush until its finish, continues to participate by lessons day by day. Rectifies mistake by suggesting proper techniques for improvements. Supply feedback to students on there daily performance to keep them motivated.
I approach topics and lessons by doing an hour of workshop first to introduce my clients with the techniques we will apply during their sessions with me. I also like to share valuable lessons to my client on a one on one setting to establish a great client and trainer relationship.
Each Lesson would be different depending on skills and experience but also what your goals are and what you want to achieve. Lessons would go between 30 minutes to an hour. I believe that with any lesson it's really important that you're having fun as well while learning at the same time. There's always new ways to teach and I always try and make each lesson unique for each individual.
My whole work ethic is based around teaching children and adults the importance of water safety and how they can utilise the tools I provide, to ensure they can get out of trouble in dire situations.
I start by teaching the children the basics of floating and then confidence in water.I followed it by increasing the physical fitness of the children.I follow this by teaching the different swimming styles like breast,back...etc.I follow up their progress.
My priority with students is always safety. I conduct lessons in small groups or individual classes in a calm and caring environment. The pace of learning is different for all of us so with this in mind classes are structured and the student's progress and confidence are evaluated before introducing new skills.
teaching depends on how happy the child is in the water, but I do encourage them to start going under the water ASAP and becoming confident and happy in the water.
teaching each person at their pace to be able to swim and enjoy swimming as this is something I believe everyone should know how to swim for fun and safety as we should all be able experience this great feeling swimmnig
I listen and teach depending on the individual.
I understand that everyone is different and at different stages. I assess on a regular basis and conduct my lessons accordingly.

Perfect! Lennard is a great teacher and to date I have had 3 sessions. As an adult in his 50s he has analysed my swimming and been able to give me positive feedback on my freestyle. In turn he has been able to suggest various drills to improve my swimming...
