I am a strong believer of every individual's unique style when it comes to Artistic performance so when I teach I am protective of my students uniqueness. With that in mind, I prefer to start from teaching basic breathing techniques and vocal drills.
As a welcoming and personable coach and mentor, I have a genuine passion for helping people and leaving them happier than before. Outgoing and individualistic, I aim to make lucidity out of chaos from a lifetime of experience as an eccentric performer and musician.
I always teach every student on an individual basis. Even within group lessons. I try to find the areas that most enthuse you as a student and focus on that direction whilst offering guidance towards other areas that may not be as familiar or as comfortable.
My teaching method is to learn how to sing freely with good technique as to not to hurt the voice. We work on correct breathing, posture, pitch, dynamics, diction. Learn how to sing in a fun environment .
My priorty is to create and maintain a love of music in the student's soul. When you have that desire for music, you will thrive on the instrument regardless of the level of talent. I tend to follow AMEB syllabus as I am in Australia but I can also work with other syllabus'. Some students just like to play through method books or work through various pieces of choice and progress that way.
While I was teached in vocal, my teacher used the SLS (Speech Level Singing) method. It worked perfectly and better than any other method for me. So I do teach the same method to my students because I believe in it.
I have a creative and flexible approach and have highly developed musicianship, vocal, stagecraft and performance abilities. By setting realistic expectations and using positive reinforcement, I aim to create a fun environment that is conducive to learning for both child and adult alike.
Hi there! :) I am Wyandrhine and I am an 18 year old high school graduate from Northpine Christian College. I believe my music education in and outside of school, practical experiences, self-learning, and my enthusiastic and outgoing personality would make me your great tutor.
The kind of students my lessons are geared towards is those violin beginners. My lessons would be basic and easy to understand. First step is getting to know those notes and after that is the scales. Afterwards is some practice songs.
My teaching style adapts to the students learning style. I prefer to teach one-on-one so I can focus on each individual students learning requirements. I am able to simplify every topic so they are understood in their most basic forms. Once the basics have been understood, we can move at a faster pace. Basics are a strong foundation for greater knowledge.
I like to teach students the way they want to be taught. If that means spending half the class on theory and then working from a book, we can do that. If they are looking for a more laid back approach, we can base our lessons of the songs that the students want to learn. I believe the only way to achieve something is to make it fun and enjoyable.
My teaching method varies, on a case-by-case basis. Every student learns at a different pace, and as such I alter my teaching methods to accomodate each student. From learning simple chord patterns, all the way up to advanced techniques. I cover a range of styles, from basic blues progressions, all the way up to advanced genres including jazz, ska, and various rock & metal genres.
My teaching methodology is to nurture and grow potential. I focus on improving technique, giving fun tips and tricks, expanding your musicology and providing lots of practical methods as well. You'll learn by doing and through variety and experimentation - you'll enjoy a safe place to expand your voice and singing abilities.
My teaching method is designed to cater to each individual student. Flexibility is key and I understand the importance of moulding the lesson around the students creative desires and experience. As I am a cross-genre musician, I offer a wide range of study areas to students of all ages.
I am geared towards students that want to write songs. A lesson entails a demonstration for 15mins and then the student attempting it for 30 while I correct hand position and help to adjust the pressure they use. I believe music is the most important thing in the universe and genuinely want to share my passion.
my personality is more of a kind, empathetic, loving and outgoing attitude towards children, patient and a very good listener.
Sing with me will get you to your full potential in music. Teaching all genres in Voice.20 years experience. Trained at JVC University Australia and Th voice Institute London UK. Diploma of contemporary Music from JVC University Melbourne Australia. Diploma of Voice from The Voice Institute London UK.
I believe in helping my students find their own unique voice. In the lesson we will work on exercises to strengthen your voice and boost your confidence as a performer, and apply these exercises practically as we work through a variety of songs of your choosing (with guidance from me). We will sing along with a recording, a cappella and with guitar accompaniment.
Development of a healthy technical foundation including breath management skills, body awareness and style appropriate vocal techniques as well as the skills required to perform. A fun and relaxed environment for all ages and levels of experience to learn and achieve personal goals.
Tailored to students, I approach each person as an individual, matching their energy and helping them stick to their goals. Kids are encouraged to play and have fun as well as increase their awareness of their own habits and practices, so they can learn in a way that is best suited to them, and feel empowered to take charge of their learning.
I plan and prepare my lessons in advance to cater for individual students needs and examination syllabus, while helping students develop a broader appreciation and understanding of music in a variety of styles through looking at theory, sight-singing, composition and other areas. I do my best to create a positive learning environment for students.
I teach the Estille method of voice which places a large focus on the mechanical workings of the vocal chords and lungs. I also teach my students pieces of technique from other vocal practices. I am a firm believer in teaching correct vocal technique from a very early age.
I like my students to be comfortable but they know I like to get their best work out of them with an easy going approach. Hard work pays off, but not in an old-school sense. I like students to focus on their interest areas but with honest guidance.
I approach each student by assessing their learning style (visual, aesthetic etc). We have set tasks in place and goals to reach as to build our repertoire and knowledge. In understanding why we do what we do, we can then develop our skill sets more effectively.
My teaching is based upon gaining an understanding of what the student wants to get out of learning the guitar and move forward with a fun and structured approach to achieve that goal, whether that be to learn songs, follow a formal grading route, develop technique or learn new skills - beginner to advanced.
I look for sheet music of songs that the students would like to learn, and teach them to read the sheet music and play the songs on the piano. Students will learn and practice the songs until they can play the whole song beautifully.
Being a young individual myself, I am able to easily connect with younger students, and also have experience in childcare and youth work. In saying this however, I do not exclude mature age students from my tutelage, and am comfortable and confident in conversing with older pupils.
I am a private music teacher using the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) framework. I encourage both playing by ear and sight-reading. My lessons are student performance based using repertoire that is engaging and relevant to the student, young or not so young.
I base my classes around the student's individual needs. If they are working towards exams then we will focus on them, however, I try to maintain the joy of music so as to build a life long skill whilst learning the technical parts.
