My teaching method is based on the student's particular interests. I believe teaching can be done in many ways. My primary way of teaching is to start off with spelling and reading. The key to becoming a great essay or story writer is for your words to flow effortlessly. With my guidance and encouragement, any student with a passion or goal will be on their way to achieving it.
My teaching philosophy is centred on understanding. My belief is that if a student has the proper groundwork in place, they can achieve anything! Hence, my focus tends not to be on just completing a specific assignment or essay but on a deeper comprehension of texts and questions.
I have experience with both University and School institutions. I love teaching and seeing my students achieve! I like to try and relate to my students, everyone is different and has their own strengths and weaknesses.
I am to stem my lessons from what the teachers have students working on, or areas that a particular student needs a bit of added help. I am happy to assist in research, writing essays or other assignments, and editing essays (for English and History specifically, but I may also be able to assist in other subjects).
I base my approach on what is the objective. I build smaller goals based on that objective, and attain it one at a time. Though time is of the essence, I believe that when learning is concerned, it is best for it to take time. If an approach doesn't work, I don't force it. Instead, I try a different way.
I have a very active and energetic teaching methodology. For me it isn't about what you're teaching but who you are teaching, believing that each individual learns and interacts differently depending on their best ability to learn. I am quite a visual learner myself, so my teaching will reflect this. However, I like to get to know an individual before deciding what is best for their learning.
I like to individualise my sessions based on the student and their own learning needs. I have the ability to adapt my teaching method based on the student's learning style (ie. visual, audio, "learn one, do one, teach one" method, etc). I know that some people take longer for certain concepts or themes to click and understand that there is more than one way of teaching a specific topic.
What works best for the student. Online or face-to-face sessions works for me. I'm good at reviewing drafts and getting you the perfect paper for submission. Can also assist in guiding you on how to start off.
I like to develop a good relationship to build trust so that I can determine what works best for you. I adjust easily to methods and am interested in what you have to say so that eventually my help wont be really required because you have grown in your skills.
My teaching method is tailored to the needs of my client. I teach writing, which is as individual as the client itself. I can help you to improve your writing whether you are working on a book, article, essay, website...
I assist students that are struggling with specific aspects or tasks (presentation, speech, essay). The students bring their problem to the table, and we work together to solve the issue. Lessons are usually an hour long, and we use Skype, and email to exchange documents and send annotated copies of work.
I am more than happy to work with the various needs of all students, whether it be working through assessment pieces, improving reading comprehension, or improving literacy skills. My lessons will cater to the present needs outlined by the student and/or guardian.
My teaching is simple. I ensure that the material helps students develop their vocabulary and writing skills. Each of the assignments is fun and at the same time educational.
My teaching method is very personal with the student. I like to discuss what works best for them and what doesn't. To begin with a discussion on how to approach a task enables us to plan for success. The core subjects I am confident in are English, History and Maths. However, I am very happy to discuss any other subjects or tasks.
My teaching pedagogy is heavily focused around differentiated learning. I assess my students needs and personalise their learning schedule to cater for their needs. Getting to know my student and their guardian is important to me, as students need to feel compfortable in their learning environment in order to learn effectively.
Students who would particularly benefit from my lessons are those who are needing extra help or are wanting to improve their pre-existing skills in English, reading, literacy and writing (including general essay writing, resume/ cover letter development, and many more).
My favourite teaching method is face to face teaching whilst also involving practical components to further expand the student's knowledge while being hands on.
I teach by firstly identifying required goals. I then assess the student's current capabilities, determine suitable communication methods, feedback mechanisms, teaching styles, lesson plans and evaluation methods needed to achieve goals and keep students on track. My initial priority is to develop a positive, professional relationship with the student.
My teaching method is tailored towards your needs and will be guided by what you particularly require. If you are studying a text, I will more than happily study it alongside you for the best outcome. Well versed in many creative writing techniques, including textual intervention, I stand to harness your powers as an individual writer.
I use the materials and knowledge I have learnt to help others understand writing styles, develop creative ideas and understand the concept of complex assignments. I will always be sure to communicate with the student about how they best learn and what makes them most comfortable, and the expand on my teaching approach from there.
My teaching method involves understanding the student's goals, and tailoring the lesson to suit their current needs/upcoming assessment tasks at school. This may involve workshopping an essay, or creative writing piece, to analysing prescribed to texts, to helping construct multimedia assessments.
I specialise in working with primary and junior primary students who need support with their reading, phonological awareness, spelling, writing and hand writing. I spend some time to assess the student and from there, I work out a tailored program to improve skills, fill in gaps and help the young person gain confidence.
I am a very friendly and easy going tutor who feels learning should be fun as well as productive.
My tutoring method is focussed first and foremost on the student. What are your goals for your writing? Where is your writing at currently? Which conditions and methods suit your learning style? We'll work together to get a good sense of the things you'd like to achieve through tutoring, then map out the steps to get you there.
My approach is to certainly acknowldege what needs work but importantly, to notice what is done right and build on this. My lessons are geared towards univeristy students, particularly in the Humanities and English as a Second Language students.
I approach my sessions catering to an individual and the type of support they need. I can explain a topic and together work on creating a positive outcome or I can challenge a student to come up with the perfect essay or I can even just be there for support and make sure everything is running smoothly. I really do look at what works best for the particular project and person I'm working with.
I aim to support the child in line with their classroom teacher and provide supplementary learning when gaps are identified. Where possible I would provide practice as part of games or enjoyable activities. I always attempt to appeal to a child’s interests and creativity.
I like to see examples of the students previous work, ask the student what they believe their weaknesses are, and what their strong points are. I then assess the work to note areas of improvements, and work through it with the student. I then address all the points in which the student wants to work on, and ensure that they have a clear and concise understanding of what they are being taught.
Interactive. Logical. Tailored to student needs. Based on the humanistic educational principles of Dane Nikolaj Frederik Severin Grundtvig.
I use a practical style of teaching. I always make sure my children visualize and see what is being spoken of rather than going by bookish language. I try to pull them into the books and feel what is happening so they understand it better.
