My teaching is based on improving art foundations. This includes proportion drawing, colour theory and how to mix paints, and how to apply brush strokes. My art style is geared more towards realism, however I enjoy a relaxed approach based on intuitions.
My art teaching methodology is very hands on fun and practical. I always make sure my classes are engaging, fun and informative. Over the years i have learnt that the best way to teach creative classes is to be creative by example so i will often show students certain techniques and disciplines by engaging in an art work of my own.
My classes will be educational, eye opening and enjoyable. I want to understand my student's ability to draw then challenge them from that knowledge. Understanding what my student's love to draw is the first step, then teaching my student's the fundamentals of what the subject matter is next.
Usually one lesson takes about 1-2 h, 2 times per week. Or can be discussable. I have my own portfolio and my students portfolio as well. Can work with adults and with childen. Please contact me if interested.
This class is designed for complete beginners. I'll guide you through all the necessary steps to learn calligraphy: choosing nibs and paper, setting up and the best practising routine. Calligraphy is easy to learn, but like any craft, it needs practice.
In classes we have covered a lot of techniques in painting and drawing, textures , clay and sculpture. A lot of craft and collage has been done as a fun complimenting addition to what you could do with art and to show how so many materials could be mixed. I had an individual approach to every student, as everyone of them had different likes and interests, some preferred one technique to another.
I am a practising full time Textile Designer specialising in print design and illustration. I have completed a Bachelor of Textile Design at RMIT and now design for a bedding and homewares company.
My teaching method will be inspired by Reggio Emilia approach. This is where the program will be student-centered and constructivist that uses self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven environments. I believe that art is one of the platforms to introduce a structured yet nurturing path for children to grow.
I can teach all kinds of painting mediums like oil pastels, water colours, acrylic painting and knife painting. I can teach landscape paintings, still life and floral paintings (according to students interest) . i am willing to teach in groups so that children not only enjoy painting but also make new friends and learn other values like sharing and cooperation.
My studio teaching method is open ended, unstructured and based mostly on experimentation. There is also a more formal record keeping aspect of my programs via an artist book or journal. Preliminary studies and sketches along with brainstorming and word journaling form a large part of this work. There is also encouragement to engage in contemporary culture with a view to critiquing social issues.
I have a hands on approach to teaching, tailoring each class to suit the needs of individual students and groups
my teaching methodology is use the tools, methods and techniques that can be used in making art works. I want to teach students that want to learn the basics of drawing, painting and printmaking. Usually, this means looking at using the various media and techniques to make individual artworks.
I am originally from London and have lived in several countries throughout asia. Most of my teaching experience has been with children, I would however also like to work with adults on a one to one basis. Composition, perspective and creativity are all included.
My teaching style is helping build confidence in the students own abilities and unique talents. Sharing my passion and knowledge and building a strong foundation for the student. I have a strong foundation in art and design and have studied and master my craft for many years.
My teaching methods can be varied by the group of students: for adults, I tend to introduce more of the background knowledge with their interest or field; for the child, I'd like to guide them follow their nature, to observe/discover the shape/color and connection of the nature and environment we live in, by this I will give some art knowledge points depends on the teaching situation.
As a teacher of senior art for nearly 15 years I create programmes specifically designed for the students’ needs addressing both strengths and weaknesses. I teach and work from my private studio set in woodlands by the beach at Emu Park on Queensland’s tropical Capricorn Coast.

My teaching method is very practical and hands-on with a lot of emphasis on smart, thoughtful, and structured practice. During most of the classes that I teach, I do. Which means that I do a lot of demonstrations and paint overs for the students showing them exactly step by step what needs to be done to complete the work.

I encourage students to identify the learning style that works best for them, and provide continuous positive support. My students have thrived in a fun learning environment through the use of visuals and practical experience. My teaching methodology is based on a communicative and creative approach. I use the everyday situation, movies, literature, popular culture, history, and many games that awaken the creative side of my students, while I also use certain techniques to improve their skills.
I would like to teach art in a motivational way, where we can share interesting ideas and be in a comfortable space. I believe that learning art (and everything else) is without limitations and you can learn it at any age. Art is an amazing way to express your inner thoughts and feelings, it can be delicate or intense, and it can be a spiritual experience too.
My teaching method is very self-paced, I cannot move on from a topic if my student doesn’t completely grasp it. I am also a very ‘black and white’ learner-I can’t understand something without order, so I try to implement the easiest, most straight forward methods in my classes.
I will ask what is the most thing the students interesting to draw. and will give them a guid to open the new angle for the art work. The structure will be the question, and discussion. research for good samples, and explanation painting method. Giving the drawing step by step examples then let tudent practice. and last is review for improvments and recomandation for futher training might needs.
My teaching method is about empowering an individual to discover there own creativity and using my knowledge to build there skills enabling them to pursue that creative vision fully. To my art is equal parts critical and creative thinking and practicle skills, I believe in fostering this through a balance between research, critical contemplation and practice.
I base my lesson plans on what the client is interested in learning, whether that be a particular technique, style of art, or medium. A typical lesson will include information on technique, a time for practical application (with guidance along the way) as well as a final critique and homework.
My teaching methods are based on high quality work with teaching the fundamentals so the students understand every aspect of the painting and decorating trade. The final product is is based on the prep of the job before paint is applied. And I have always believed quality must come first.
I cover a broad range of techniques with a range of mediums varying from pencil sketching, watercolour, pastel to acrylic painting. Classes commence with basic technique skill, design and art concepts, usually working with one medium to begin with until the students developed their technique. As classes continue we increase the variety of mediums to find the ones that suit the student.
