My methodology is quite flexible and is based on your needs as a student. I understand that everyone has different ways and speeds of learning and this is something that I have acknowledged in the past in tutoring. My lessons are geared towards students who are struggling in history or are doing well and want that extra boost to their final mark.
Hi, My name is Fabian and I am currently completing my final year of Bachelor of Arts majoring in Anient History. I want to assist you in your ancient history studies and offer one on one private tuitions in the comfort of your own home. I am suited for teaching and assisting with the ancient history subjects for both primary and secondary student up until VCE.
My degree in Cultural/Critical Studies encompassed areas of Ancient/Modern History including Greek/Roman/Hebrew/Australian cultures/Archaeology and Animals. Lessons are determined by students needs. Focus is primarily in Essay Preparation/Writing/Time Management and Correct Referencing. I encourage fun learning online. First Lesson Free.
Student-centred teaching which encourages student curiosity and critical analysis is the foundational element of my teaching pedagogy. In the classroom, my placement experiences are often geared towards working to engage students in delving into the historical past in ways which work to nurture the changing landscape that is history.
My teaching method is History (general, Renaissance, Australian) and English. First, I like to ask the student about their strengths and weaknesses in the classroom, and how they like to learn. This helps me to structure lessons around your needs.
I am so passionate about history that my lessons leap out of the books and come alive! Learning is fun, inspiring and hands on.
I am looking to teach hardworking primary and high school aged students who have a solid respect history, needing to like it is unnecessary as I will do my best to employ that myself. I firmly believe that basics need to be taught and totally understood before successful work can be made on any assignment.
I like to engage my students with the purpose of why they are learning that particular material foremost in mind. They are brought to their own conclusions in a way that gives them an understanding of the whole, as opposed to just the facts.
I base my teaching on a model of developing rapport with students and working towards achievable but challenging goals. Through establishing a students strengths and weaknesses and providing support, feedback and "feedforward" to reach those goals and establish new goals.
My teaching method is based on my experience studying psychology. I do not teach students how to rote learn, as research as shown this to be ineffective. Rather, I focus on scientifically proven methods of learning, such as mnemonics as well as timed studying, specific nutrition and sleep patterns etc. that have been shown to be significantly more effective for retention.
I am a High Distinction University Student that has returned a second time to complete a Double Degree in Education and Arts. As I tutor many subjects and all students are different, all lesson plans are structured to the individual students needs and goals.
I believe the easiest way to understand something is to develop a passion for it. Therefor it is my job to make the content you need to learn something you're also interested in and at the very least something you can relate to.
My teaching method is based around what the child already knows, what they want to know, and how they learn best. I believe that each child is unique and deserves to be taught in the way that suits them best. I like utilising open discussion and collaborative hands on methods.
I prefer visual aids for learning/memorising material. Colour, pictures etc. assist some students in retaining information more than non visual aids or just copying notes down. I'm happy to sit with a student and find a way that aids them in learning the material that best suits them as a student.
I base my classes on maintaining the interest and focus of students and ensuring their are motivated to learn. I am interested in getting to know each of my students well so I can tailor my methods to each of them and make sure they get the most out of their learning.
Open conversation, finding the joy in learning and really understanding topics, rather than just memorising facts. I also love critical and analytic thinking, so challenging what is learnt and also applying it to life.
Academically, currently I’m in a my third year of a bachelor of the arts degree majoring in history and minoring in theatre and drama. I’ve always been passionate about the study of the past and hope to go on to a masters of secondary education as well as potentially a masters of archeology at some point.
My personal pedagogy is to ensure all students have a growth mindset and can reach their goals. I work with the current curriculum as well as the students own goals to create an individualised learning plan that consists of reachable goals so that the student is not set up for failure. I believe any student can achieve a high standard of work when given the right tools to do so.
I prefer one-to-one or small groups. How my lessons are conducted is dependent to the student's learning style and what they need help with. I assist with normal classwork/homework, exam preparation and assignments. My aim is help students understand the work to the best of their ability.
History tutor available for private lessons. I'm a current PhD student and hold degrees in History and Philosophy, Editing and Publishing, and English Literature. I can hold lessons at my home or at a venue of your choosing, flexible hours.
I work with students to improve without feeling like anything is too difficult. I give positive reinforcement and encouragement at all times.
My teaching method is dependent on the needs of the student. If they need help with a specific topic or assignment, then that will be the focus of the lessons. If they are seeking a broader understanding of the topic then I will attempt to explore and find the students interest and use that as the tool to explore further different aspects of history.
Hello to everyone, I graduated in philosophy first in Italy (three years), then I got a master's degree and a doctorate in Germany. My philosophical preparation ranges from ancient philosophy to contemporary philosophy. I wrote on the Renaissance philosophy, graduating on Wittgenstein's thought, and I published a book on Foucault.
Working from what you like, and what you know. A philosophy or English course can be scary when you do not have the basics, but in fact, we all have bases in movies, music, or games that we love! For the kids, I work with games, and theater. We always remember something better when we give it meaning, and have fun.
My approach to teaching is always dependent upon the student's needs, preferences, goals and learning styles. I work hard to create an engaging and bespoke learning experience which enables all students to progress at a rapid and enjoyable speed, whilst ensuring full and comprehensive understanding.

I like to put a 'issue' and see what made it, how people reacted and what was outcomes. Sometimes looking at it from the point of view of a modern person, sometimes taking side of another era viewer. We discuss using PPE and I support with use of specific terminology.
My classes are based primarily on the student's preferences. In Art History, it is important to communicate and exchange about the works studied: therefore, group teaching offers greater opportunities for reflection and interpretation. Each course is focused on a particular work, chosen by me first and then according to the inclinations of the students.
I try to make my lessons fun, dynamic and engaging by showing many pictures, songs and short clips to create a cinematic image of the topics explained, which so far has proven to work as the majority of my studentes showed a tendency to improve their grades.
