Guaranteed to help each student find (or re-find) their footing and confidence in music, my lessons are always based on the individual's needs. I truly believe anyone can learn to sing - all you need is the willingness to work, and the ability to be both critical, and kind to yourself. While I am definitely a technical teacher, I like to tackle songs from an acting perspective - if you understand what you're saying, the voice will automatically respond.
My methodology is based on giving my students the tools with which to correct their own technique so that they can create a captivating performance using a bank of ideas and skills that we cultivate together and don't just end up feeling overwhelmed. I also place a strong emphasis on talking about the music my students like and encouraging exploration in to those areas.
The types of methods that I use to teach my students are through the AMEB grading system and Suzuki methods, this may also include other teaching methods like solfege, forks song, and technical improvement exercises. I am a great teacher because I set my lessons up with progressive achievement each student can learn and develop.
My lessons are geared towards students who are interested in learning vocals with attention to good technique, vocal health and who have commitment to learning. Students can expect to be taught from the ground up, and will be taught to understand proper/safe singing techniques including breathing, posture and anatomy of the vocals.
It is my belief that in order for effective learning to take place, children must be under consistent conditions in which they feel safe, engaged, and feel free to extend and consolidate their learning (at home with their families/friends).

Teaching is centered around two types of practice, which allow students to evolve independently and easily in any conditions, and quickly: - Learning chords, scales, etc ... : key element of the strengths of confirmed guitarist, scales, chords, are the basis of the music. Here it is not a question of theory, but visualization, direct understanding of the instrument.
