I offer a tailored approach to lessons, communication with you is of the highest importance so i know what it is you wish to gain from my lessons. Whether it be setting up your own home production studio and all that includes, or learning specific task for AMEB theory or practical exams.
My teaching methods are to allow both individuality and creativity to flow freely from every student. I base most of my teachings on current trends in the music industry such as software, technology, and current/past audio production principles. As the field of audio is very broad, a brief understanding of basic sound theory, physics, audio history, and music production function will be covered.
Based on the experience and needs of each student. Some students wish to cover the basics and simply ensure they can record themselves playing guitar and singing, others wish to mix their album to a studio-quality level, including post production and mastering. My aim is to teach students anywhere along this spectrum.
I believe in open and free discussion. The classroom is the perfect environment to experiment, and consequently have the freedom to make mistakes in. Inquisitiveness goes a long way in creative fields, and so I aim to teach individuals who are voracious for information and improving themselves.
During the first free lesson, I get to know who you are. What are your interest and specialities. I understand your musical experience and the skillset. From there, I ask the 2 important questions: what are your goals and why did you choose music.
My teaching method is very structured, focused, strategic. It will be broken down into short courses to give more attention to fine detail of production.
Using ableton live I can teach beginners and intermediate level artists looking to understand programming and composition on ableton live. This is a versitle platform that can also record and mix.
I will show you a number of ways to approach making music, minimising any potential walls you've perhaps hit in your past, whilst making it fun and more importantly getting a result at the end of it.
I teach every student individually by Singing and making them to understand the notations given in English language. The Notes are provided a few days before the class so as to help them to understand on hand during teaching session through Skype. Students are expected to perform the learnt lessons thoroughly and display their skill in the next or fothcoming classes.
I like to keep things quite relaxed and quite fun in the classroom. There will be lots of warm ups and games that everyone will enjoy. My lesson structure generally consists of 50% theory and 50% practical exercises. They all contribute to the student's skills and understanding of different aspects of music.
I like to do brief demonstrations and then walk my students through the process.
I approach a topic by a way to understand the basic foundation. I believe that once your core is strong, you will be able to figure out things intuitively in the long run. The sessions are 1 hour per booking and a minimum of 5-6 sessions to cover all the basic elements to start producing your own music. Extra sessions can be arranged for a more in-depth understanding.
My teaching method will vary depending on if the classes are one-on-one or group based. Obviously one-on-one would be more detail orientated. Class structure would be to first train your ears to recognize the frequency spectrum and what instruments are coming through at what frequencies. Then we shall move onto recording techniques before learning editing and mixing.
My lessons will be tailored to suit your needs following an assessment of your current understanding and knowledge of the subject, there is no generic lesson structure because every learner is different and will ultimately benefit most from a customised approach
I am a tutor focused on helping students learn the in's and out's of live electronic performances, directing students to the right equipment for their desired outcome and giving them a greater understanding of the foundations of live electronic performances.
I believe in doing practical exercises after learning about the theory and history as to get a full understanding of the origins of audio production.
My teaching method is both theoretical and practical. I take music lessons both in class and online. I prefer a physical class in order to help the students with hands on experience.
In the classes you'll be learning Music Theory, Synthesis, Instruments and Vocal Recording techniques, Structure and Arrangement, EQ, Processing, Effects, Workflow and more, everything inside Ableton Live. I like to separate the classes by modules and cover everything that I can in each one, so the learner can understand step by step experimenting different kinds of techniques.
My teaching method can be both academic and practical. I'll be providing students with real recorded audio stem files from bands and artist for them to practice as well as useful PDF booklet regarding mixing. Creating music should be a fun process and not too theory base. So my lesson will focus more on creating music and the post-production aspect rather than academic books.
My professional experience and personal experimentation are extremely valuable and useful tools and will help anyone starting out with a passion for quality sound with out the huge price tag. My experience will help any one source and help build extream value audio systems with minimal out lay.
Hello all, Please check my free online tutorials on my youtube channel, to see my teaching methodology. I base my courses on your needs and work to help you achieve your goals. Each lesson links theory to practice in order to get you familiarized with your softwares and eventually get you autonomous.
I would love to assist you with expanding your musical knowledge, with one on one casual lessons to address areas you need help in
The whole process starts with you filling in my Google Keep questionnaire for me to understand your level, needs and goals. We will work online in real-time, with me screen-sharing the Ableton Live project via Team Viewer and capturing everything that's happening on video with both my, and the student's voice included (allows to re-watch the lessons as many times as needed).
As music is such a subjective and creative medium I will work with you to help you turn your ideas into music!
I specialise in Ableton Live 10, but also i have experience with FL Studio and Pro Tools. I won't preach that my skills are 'correct' but by efficiently showing you how i do what i do then you can take what you've seen and implement it in your own way. I won't produce for you, but i will help you do so.
i base my classes on teaching what is in current interest in the musical world. i like to prepare the students to the real world, giving them the tools and knowledge to act as professionals as artists, producers or engineers in the market.
I have four different levels that I teach and they are as per below: Beginners - Here I teach the basics of Beat making and setting your Hook Intermediate - Here I teach mixing tracks individually Proficient - Here I teach the high end level of layering for texture Advanced - Here I teach the nuances in tuning percussion and rhythmic shuffles that enhance a beat
I would consider myself to be very patient and sympathetic towards students of all types. Whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, I will focus on their needs and wants. You will be guaranteed full attention on the things you want to learn, whether that's how to create beats, design your own sounds, jam with loops or arrange entire songs.
My teacher methodology would be to throw yourself into something and do your own research, learn and gain as much knowledge as possible and start experimenting with the idea's. I also believe in a mix of face to face and online education.
I focus on fundamentals and on following a project to it's most advantageous conclusion.
