I teach basics in hip hop, jazz and contemporary, and believe a strong foundation is crucial to further development. As the dancers improve, I start adding more challenging steps and exercises. I am encouraging and meet the dancers where they're at. I speak into the dancers' potential and challenge them to put the effort that is needed to be the best they can be.
I can teach all levels, and I will help you to achieve your dance goals in a fun but professional way. I will create and teach you something unique, according to the kind of event, music, or emotion you want us to work on. I'm a sweet and respectful person, and my goal as a teacher is to make the people confident and proud of themself.
I am a strong believer that everyone has something to say and I can help them to express themselves. I cater to individual requirments by adapting my teaching methodology based on the individuals needs. I can help to develop the strengths of a persons dancing.
Teaching Modern and Contemporary, I would go through Limon and Graham Technics. For Hip-Hop teaching, I can teach Old School Hip-Hop, Est Coast U.S.A. I can teach the basics of Locking/Popping and waking, West Coast Hip-Hop U.S.A. I would always talk about history before starting to teach a new group. It's the base for me. I will always start my classes with Dance Technics, including the warm-up.
I believe it is extremely important for students to have a voice and be able to express their needs and feelings. If they find something challenging, I will find a way to break this down until it is their second nature. In contrast, I will find ways to challenge those that want to be pushed and challenged too.
My teaching method is to concentrate on the fundamentals of movement that further develop your skill level. My research lies in incorporating a Mindfulness practice into dance training and how our awareness of our holistic self can benefit our optimal dance training.
My teaching method is opening their minds to see the art and different stages of dance. i base my classes on performance and technique. i approach topics by teaching them the backgrounds and the feeling/story that is given to each dance performance.
My teaching method is based on delivering strong technical information while also nurturing the dancer's unique dance style. My classes are grounded, strong, fluid and passion-driven. With over 15 years in the Performing Arts industry, I have a depth of knowledge in Classical and Contemporary dance forms to share freely.
I BASICALLY START DANCE FROM PHYSICAL FITNESS WHICH IS MUST TO PERFORM DANCE . HEALTH IS PRIORITY .PERFORMING DANCE WITH SAFETY IS NECESSARY. LEARNING DANCE FROM BASIC TO ADVANCE TECHNIQUE WILL ENSURE PROPER LEARNING.
I BELIEVE THE STUDENTS NEED TO HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THE LESSON TO GET GOOD RESULTS. I NEVER TEACH TOO STRICT OR YELL AT MY STUDENTS. THE STUDENTS HAVE RESPECT FOR ME BUT WE CAN STILL HAVE A LAUGH AND HAVE A GOOD TIME AND WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE THEM THE DANCER THEY WANT TO BE AND MAKE THEIR DREAMS COME TRUE.
I approach each class differently depending on the children I am teaching. Age and level of difficulty always comes into affect. I always try to make it a fun environment while pushing them to be the best dancer they can be.
I describe myself as person who is passionate in sharing my knowledge of Afro-beats throughout the continent of Africa. My lessons are geared to students who want to experience dance and culture that they are not usually exposed to.
Basically step by step. The basic usual routine to extreme. I know, I know the feeling. Get ready and you’ll get there.
The way I teach is adapted to meet each student's personal needs and capabilities. The lesson typically starts with a warm up and stretch and then focuses on what the student is wanting to improve/learn whether this be solos, technique etc.
The best convenient method preferred by the student.I will suggest more practise than words . Practise makes things perfect. I will train the the student being a friend not as a senior or a teacher. Will be loyal and trust worthy.
My teaching method can be one-on-one or groups, depending on the students' preference. I can work as a private dance teacher, so I can do an at-home tutoring. I can also teach student dance routines for a competition or general performance.
My teaching method is usually based on feels, what dance demands is feels and not steps always.Dance is an expression and not perfection. Though some of my methods include Freestyling, hand movements , body and hip movements. The main focus is always on waist movements.
The methodology I use in my classes is based on making the student enjoy. My main objective is to get the student to dance, enjoy expressing with his body and acquire good physical health. They will be able to feel the Latin music inside their heart and express through their body.
I teach a range of styles including, Contemporary dance, Ballet, Jazz and specific event choreography (eg Weddings, flash mobs, parties). I can focus my lessons on specific techniques required for each lesson.
I take private dance lessons to teach dance competition solos/duos or to assist with technique and flexibility. My lessons can be conducted on a casual or weekly basis to suit the dancers schedule. I love to work with experienced and new dancers.
The teaching method would depend on the style of dance and level of dancer, but each class would consist of a warm up, center work, and small combinations to practice. I believe every dancer has their own area they excel in which would be highlighted and we would work together to make the dancer comfortable doing all moves.
I like to teach completely based around the individual. I am able to run private lessons for RAD students to better their technique before exams. I can also run private lessons for students wanting classical or contemporary solos for competitions.
My methodology is quite flexible to adjust students necessities and to make sure they are improving as much as they can. The main topics go around, team work, floor work, body strength, physical agility, creativity and improvisation. The general focus of my classes is to create confidence between the students and movement, allowing them to realize how movement is a natural thing in our bodies.
My classes are all about what YOU need to know and what YOU are struggling with. I know some concepts are hard to grasp or terminology can be difficult.
My teaching method is that I base my classes on commencing with a fifteen minute to twenty minute warm up involved strengthing, strengthening and aligning the body in preparation for class. Then commencing with techniqual exercises to get a solid foundation of technique whilst encouraging the student and having fun at the same time.
I base my classes on the student/s in my lesson and tailor it the age, ability and interests. I base the time and detail on the students wants and needs.
Practise is progress. Mind over Matter. Work for Excellence but most of all have fun. First, we begin with stretching and technique for dance safety and body awareness. Then exercises for technique, strength and conditioning.
First we start from warm ups, stretch neck, shoulder, upper body, side of body, legs, toes. then we practice isolation and few basic steps. and move to corner work( turns, high kicks, jumps, etc...
I am not a ´professionally trained´ dance teacher, however I did learn a-lot competing and training over the years. I believe I have great ideas for choreography in which I would love to teach to those who enjoy dancing as much as i do! My classes would aim to give those a great workout (physical health) and also allow input from others to express themselves (emotional health).
I base my classes on the individuals confidence and level, I approach all classes and participants with a positive and fun attitude, as I believe that when teaching it doesn't feel like a hierarchy and/or serious environment, it should feel comfortable, easy going and stress feel, so the participants don't feel stress, anxious and/or uncomfortable I also offer dance classes for fun, I can help...
