I base my teaching on your learning style! most students do not study effectively.... very flexible and easy going. Health Science can be very confronting to start studying, especially for 1st timers. But with some hints and hacks, one can succeed in improving his/her knowledge.
Lessons are tailored to the student's level and knowledge base. Some students are complete beginners, and need to be taught what exactly a SR and MA is; others are more advanced and are ready to start building a search strategy. My expertise covers each part of the SR/MA process: 1) question formation (PICO(R), SPIDER, etc.
I did not believe in cramming I just go through the basic points and clear all the doubts of students with my teaching methods. So, definitely, I will provide good lessons to the students to improve their learning power.
I am a highly motivated student aiming for personal and professional development of students. I would expect my students to be highly motivated, self driven and eager to learn. I will adopt Discussion Method for teaching and lesson structure will be based on fundamental concepts and skills.
My lesson shall be based on which subject would you want me to discuss. We could either follow your preferred academic materials and/or follow the outline I have prepared. For every topic, I will require you to answer a quick assessment and we'll discuss the answers with a detailed rationale.
I like to work with individual students and small classes. Students have always fed back that they enjoy my knowledge, communication skills. empathy and humour. Although I use powerpoint, I prefer interaction and robust discussion with students, encouraging participation.
My lessons are practical based and built around what you need to work on. I will continue to come up with different ways to teach so that you are able to understand all concepts. I am flexible and have lots of suggestions on general studying strategies as well (including GAMSAT study).
My Methodolgy is custom to students basic understanding and knowledge.
Depends on what you specifically want to learn about, I'll usually start with the basics of a certain topic, from anatomy to physiology. I'll cover everything that you need to know before delving deeper into pathophysiology and pharmacology (if needed). Upon request, I also implement Problem-Based Learning: case presentations and its details from signs & symptoms to basic management.
My teaching method is basically understanding the difficulties people have with certain subjects and getting them to see how easy it can get.
A Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacology) with over 20 years of professional experience in research and academia that includes 6 years of Postdoctoral (Germany, Canada and Australia), 12 years of Teaching and 1 year of Industrial experience in diversed areas of biomedical research.
I strongly believe that stimulating interest is the best teaching practice. Interest can lead students to actively learn related knowledge.
My teaching method is accommodating to suit the student's personality and learning style. I always aim to make the lessons and content interesting while being as beneficial as possible. I am also willing to find and incorporate additional material that enables the student's capabilities to extend beyond what they are learning at their level at school.
It will depend on the requirement of the student making sure that the student has a good grip on the subject. Individual or group lessons both can be done. Flexible about the timing too.
I believe in better visualization and practical learning experience. Encouraging students of mixed abilities to work together by promoting small group or whole class activities. I believe in inquiry based instructions. Pose thought-provoking questions which inspire the students to think for themselves and become more independent learners.
Basics is what many people lack from what I observed..
Dr. G. G. Chamal Sanjeewa ( Postgraduate Institute of Medicine - Sri Lanka ) has won 2017 Global award for academic championship organised by organised by International Agency for Standards and Ratings. Dr. G.G Chamal Sanjeewa among World's 500 Most Influential Public Health Experts for the Year 2017 as well. SBS Sinhalese interviewed Dr. Chamal Sanjeewa regarding this great achievement.
no matter who you are, or what level of study you are completing in health science your lessons are customised to suit your specific needs and goals.
Firstly, a friendly environment with the students is necessary to make them comfortable. I can teach while giving examples. Eye contact with the students is must. I will be teaching them confidently and will always be ready to answer their questions.
We will have an interactive learning and teaching session to make it interesting and to keep you and me awake and alert!
My teaching method is basically PPTs. i.e power point. I love to teach in detail and i go practically to make my students understand the topic by giving examples. I love to take test at end of each month to brush up what was taught.. i definitely don't bore my students as i keep my teaching level at that point where they never miss my lectures.
I teach with the intention of giving you understanding the subject alongside delicate guidance for getting perfect scores in exams.
Ideally I would be a patient teacher for life support courses and would be persistent until everyone in class is confident with the procedure.
Simple method used during teaching, I mostly used PPT presentation method with detail explanation and Q&A session
I have a passion for taking seemingly complicated topics and explaining them in a simplified easy to understand manner. I have helped 1st and 2nd year uni students go from hating chemistry to enjoying it and taught fellow medical students.
I have a very flexible teaching method, that evolves to meet the student's need. In the beginning, I like to discuss what goals the student wants to acheive, and explore their general learning style. In general, I like to be interactive, and bring in daily life imagery to help consolidate their understanding of more complex issues.
I believe everyone studies differently, therefore, making it crucial to personalise each tutoring session to suit the learner's style. I myself use predominately notetaking, flashcards, visual imagery and pneumatics but will of course target our sessions to your study and learning style.
Following a tray S obtained with honors, I joined the school in Marseille Thiers preparatory classes for the Grandes Ecoles (MPSI and PSI *). I then directed the third year to the University (BA Hons Physics Chemistry Very Good and Senior Wrangler). I then followed a course Physics Master (M1 obtained with distinction and Major Deals and M2 also obtained with distinction and Senior Wrangler).
