My teaching method is like Richard Feynman. I'd like to explain the situation as simply as possible then solidify the thoughts with definite set of problems. I believe that the lessons must very interactive that every student find it interesting.
My teaching method is to be as visual as possible. I like to provide a story or bigger picture to put things into context. A usual lesson would involve me getting an idea of what you know, then building on that. I want my tutees to develop methods to think, rather than follow formulas and instructions alone.
I don't follow the method of teaching through book ,I take the students to level where they get to know why is this happening through real life examples .As I like to use the e-learning in the teaching and some practical projects.
I approach topic by delivering the fundamentals first followed by a bit of practice for the basics. After the basics have been completely absorbed, then I move onto the complexities. I focus on practicing a lot as for maths, practice is everyting.
A future mechanical engineer, i like to start from basics so that there is no confusion but can even go direct to the point if it is comfortable for the student. Have got more than 95 in all the math units in 1st year. Have helped a lot of friends in learning and solving questions.
I teach subjects by connecting the problems with real life problems and giving examples so that it is retained longer.I teach topic wise and then conduct a test based on that to understand student's understanding. Once a topic is clear, i move to the next one.I hold an exam at the completion of each unit. Available to solve students doubts all the time even during non working hours.
I choose to cover one topic per day but it can take more days depending upon the length of the topic itself. I like to use visual aids such as online presentations and videos so that students can grasp and learn the concepts faster.
I always believe in making people understand rather than memorise a situation. As this would help them handle things in the future, even if they actually forgot what they studied. Everyone is born gifted, it just takes the right type of understanding for everyone to capture.
My base my teaching on a progressive approach that is starting from the basics and advancing forward. I patiently wait for everyone to completely understand the concept rather than focusing just on course completion. I try to be friendly with my students and am very happy to take doubts.
I like to keep lessons short with classes up to a maximum of one hour with breaks in between, however I like to stick with 30 minute classes so the brain doesn't get put under a lot of strain. Studies have shown that students that divide study sessions into short chunks tend to retain information better.
I follow first principal methodology. It is a simiple approach in which the basic or rather the foundation of the topic is taught in dept and once it is done the student will find it easy to scale it up and apply it to more complex problems.
My teaching method is to start with the basics to gauge the level they are at and then focus on the areas of which they struggle with. I use explanations and go through worked examples which i have created as well as help students work through questions they have been given in class.
Ideally, a student will know where they struggle, and that will help me help them - it's easier to help if you know what the problem is. Much of my teaching involves explaining complex concepts in a relatively simple manner.
I tailor my teaching to suit the learning style of the student. May this be more talking based, diagram based or more interactive based methods of teaching. Depending on the subject, the best way to teach it can often vary greatly between students. This is something I have learnt in my years as a private tutor.
I base my classes on the topics which students are studying through their school, providing them with a much deeper understanding of the theory behind the concepts being studied.
I start with giving the knowledge on basic concepts. Then after few examples will be done and explained. After that the student is given questions to try hi/her own and close monitoring will be done to see how the student approach the problem solving. This gives me chance to see the weaknesses of the student and gaps in understanding of the subject.
I base my classes on the topics being done at school, then progress into future topics. I start each topic from the basics and build on, then I link each topic together. I am very patient and explain concepts in different ways, you can be confident you will learn and improve with me.
I approach teaching in many different ways, but first thing first, I would want to get to know my students and understand their personality. Then I will structure the lesson the way the student wanted to have as many do not like how their teacher's teaching.
I teach my students by demonstrating simpler and multiple ways of approaching the mathematical problems. I include examples, activities, and applications which help in effective learning. The problem-solving starts with basics and simpler exercise and later depending on the students grasping power the difficulty level is increased.
I personally am a very visual learner and gain a lot of knowledge from well produced diagrams. I also respond very well to open discussion to aid proper understanding of the topic at hand. Using my personal experiences through High School and University, I hope to gear a lesson towards any type of student learning at any speed.
I relate Math and English together and devise a methodology with the student to predict the answer first before actually solving them, and then cross relate their answer after solving, to what they originally predicted. Doing it this way gives the student confidence with time to tackle any sort of problem.
My method is to understand my students and providing lessons based on need and demand. I try to teach very carefully and sincerely as all students does not have similar capability. I focus on solving problems, weekly and chapter-wise exam, and solving past years questions.
I have good grades, knowledge, a Master's degree and experience in the field. I believe it is important to find a tutor who is patient, who truly enjoys teaching, enjoys the company of his or her students and has the ability to build a rapport with them so that they can learn. This, I promise you, I can do.
Hello, my name is George I'm a Bachelor of Health and PE student at Deakin who is looking to tutor students in Maths. My previous tutoring experience is in general maths with middle school students. My main focus is to help students build confidence in the field of maths as I believe a lack of confidence is one of the main reasons why some students struggle in this subject.
My teaching Method is Double Mathematics. I have however taught subjects such as French and computers at High Schools. I have taught Medical terminology at Tafe as well as many computing and Job ready classes. I have taught both high school students and Adults.
My main teaching method is showing and explaining how the problem is approached and solved, by breaking the problem done and then letting the student try to work it out themselves. Sessions would be run by what the student needs help with, or what their homework is. My philosophy is showing not doing.
Practice, practice, practice! And then...? More practice. The courses students receive in highschool and at university are designed to explain general concepts, and the students job is to understand and remember these concepts, to then be able to apply them to (hopefully) any situation they encounter.
I am a masters student who has comoleted bachelors in electronics and communications engineering with first class and have a high Passion about imparting knowledge to the young minds. I have been doing private tutoring from my high school days and have great experiance in teaching.
I assist students by strengthening their concepts and fundamentals through indulging in individual attention to for maximum focus; I also help them revise with previous question papers which would improve the student's scores. I make sure that the student comprehends the lesson, regardless of the hours spent; I also tend to use easier approaches to make their learning stronger and interactive.
I teach for students to see the bigger picture and try to make them visualize what is happening on the problems rather than memorizing the solutions of the problems. I try to use as much as real life examples that they can relate when explaining the topics. I try to make the classes fun and enjoyable.
