My teaching method alternates theory and practice, games, music, use of educational material, readings, literature books, poetry, exercises. My lessons are always very dynamic and interactive. For me it is important to teach but in a fun and never boring way.
My teaching philosophy is centred on understanding. My belief is that if a student has the proper groundwork in place, they can achieve anything! Hence, my focus tends not to be on just completing a specific assignment or task but on a deeper comprehension of the Italian language and its features.
My teaching method is based on communication, and I believe that is the key for effective teaching (and learning!). I like to discuss with my students what they think their strength and weaknesses are in the subject, so that we can start working from there.
I made up lessons by the way. I want to know the person at first and start from there. I like being organized and I've always had good teachers who sets good example to me. I have been an Exchange Student in America and I had to learn American English from scratch and it's easy being patient because I know how is the feeling of learning a new language.
I love children and know hot to deal with them. When working as a ski instructor I usually deal with groups of up to 15 children. Surely it may be difficult and a lot of patience is required. But seeing a child smiling is one of the greatest satisfactions.
My experience on both the student and the teacher side has allowed me to develop a way of teaching italian in a simple and fun way. I know the struggle of learning a new language and that's why I try to understand the learning method of the student and adapt my lessons to it.
l will teach italian based on the real need of the person interested in learning. Conversation and reading will be 90% italian adding grammar and texts.
I MANLY FOCUS ON THE NEEDS OF MY STUDENTS.

I was born in Rome, Italy to Italo-Australian parents and moved to Melbourne when I was 12. I completed VCE Italian receiving a 50, and study languages at Melbourne University. I have been tutoring in Italian since VCE. Depending on the level I like to structure my classes so that a range of material is covered, including grammar, oral, reading and writing practice.
I have one degree in Linguistics and Translation and one in Language Education and I would love to share my knowledge and experiences with anyone who would like to know more about the language and culture of Italy. Either face-to-face lessons or online lessons via Skype.
with my method, you will learn the basic sound and vocabulary so that you will be able to start small conversations then slowly and naturally progress into complex structures.
I always try to blend the students' personalities and interests with their needs and curriculum-appropriate methods. When learning a language I think it's important to learn to apply it to concrete situations and to understand the practical use. Learning is not just about studying but it should be associated with fun and exciting activities.
I base my classes on TESOL (Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages) methodology, but use it to teach Italian. Based on already speaking English we teach Italian vocabulary and highlight similarities or differences between the two and their grammar.
Learning a foreign language doesn't have to be stressful and shouldn't require much time or organisation. I believe in teaching through experiences, learning whilst having fun and being immersed in various everyday life situations.
My teaching methods will depend on the students needs and objectives. But for sure, not every class will be the same and you'll get to enjoy while you learn a new language. My Honours thesis was about a gamification strategie, so you'll learn either playing or have tutorials based on your interests and hobbies.
Hi! I have a keen interest in languages and am passionate about encouraging others to take up learning a second language. I also offer English lessons for all levels.
My classes are structured, following the fundamental of grammar and the most important subjects in order to enable students to conversate as soon as possible. Starting from that, in each class a space is given to students interests, actuality and funny chats.
I usually base my classes on my students' needs. Firstly, we find out the weaknesses and together we focus on achieving the goals we aim to. After that, I provide a detailed and tailored programme based on specific requests and needs. Last but not least, homework! I promise it will be fun and educational at the same time.
I have high expectations of my students so that they are able to achieve their best. I take time to get to know students individually so that my curriculum design incorporates students' expressed areas of interest and is aimed at their specific areas of need. I have a professional approach and use a variety of formal and informal assessment methods to ascertain students' achievements.

My teaching methods vary depending on the needs of the student. I can offer help for beginners of Italian or those who wish to start learning. My method depends on the needs of the student, whether that be learning through topics (food, music, going out, etc.) or learning points of grammar only.
I base my class on individual goals my students want to achieve
First of all it would be good by dividing the lessons in sections: -first 15 minutes in learning new vocabularies; -30 minutes of grammar; -finally 15 minutes of conversations of what we learnt during the lesson. Then I think that the best way to learn a language concerns also the understanding of culture and history of the country.
My method is very focused on communication. We will be speaking in Italian only and every lesson will be focused on various topics which will include grammar and vocabulary.
My teaching method depends on your current level of Italian. If you are a beginner I start with grammar and main vocabulary and verbs. If you have a sufficient comprehension of Italian, I will use it more than English to communicate with you. I'm also open to use the approach and the knowledge that you think best suits you.
