I will teach playing the guitar in a fun and playful way. We would look up some songs you like, simplify the chords and make sure you can learn to play your song pretty fast. It is the nicest way to learn the guitar. I will not teaching music theory, but of course we will have a look at the basics you need to play the guitar.
I'll teach the basic lesson of guitar with basic theory. As we progress, I'll be teaching Major and minor chords as well as fingerstyle patterns and strumming patterns. Student will need to practice everyday at least 20-30 minutes to become better and better.
My method includes lessons of variable duration but high intensity, where we try to get to the bottom of the topic by understanding its essence.
Ascertain both what the person would like to learn and if I can meet their needs. Assess the current level of knowledge . Strengths and weaknesses. My Philosophy is to help students identify their own learning paths to achieve their goals.
My lessons are geared towards those that love music and want to be taught music in a both classical and contemporary/modern approach as I've been taught from both sides and fell that the theory behind music must be learnt to fully give everything you have into performing.
I assess the level the student is at and then base my teaching on that personal approach. Lessons would be for 50-60 minutes a week, and would be based on what the student has learnt in the previous week and weeks. That learning would involve previous lessons, practice at home and reference to a guitar teaching book or books at the appropriate level for the student.
Technical aspects of guitar will be loosely based around the AMEB grades if a student chooses the classical route. I would prefer to cater my lessons around what students want to learn for example songs they want to learn or genres/styles they would like to play in. For me a teacher is more of a guide and learning would be doubly as effective if both parties are engaged in the content.
I base my lessons on student's choosing a song that they want to learn from a list i have prepared, and compiling a list of individual practical and theoretical tasks based around that song. I never push a student into learning things that will be too much of a challenge, and prefer to take the relaxed method.
I have had no teaching experience before but I believe and my piano teacher believes I will make a great teacher for younger children or beginner pianist, saxophonist, cellists and guitarists to help get them kick started on their musical journey.
I tailor my teaching approach to meet the desires of individual students. My form of teaching tends to be theoretically dense however the practical aspects are never ignored.
I am a qualified music and guitar teacher with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. All students welcome from Beginners to advanced students. Customised lessons to suit you! Learn the songs you want to play! Technique, improvisation, ear training and theory all highlighted within lessons.

Being Self taught Guitarist, i am able to teach interested individuals whom want to learn to play guitar in four lessons. Each Four lessons would consist of one hour by four for rhythm playing and one hour by four for lead playing.
The most important thing for me is to understand where the students ability level is. from there it is my job to show the student the best and most efficient way to improve their skills and understanding of the music. This process is assisted with the aid of tailored lessons and exercises.
I cater my curriculum to the individual. Which ever style you prefer to learn I can create a suitable method of approach that would be both efficient and effective. This approach is a tried and tested method that has been very successful.
My teaching method is always focussed on the needs of the student. It's my job to find out what you would like to learn and how to best help you achieve your musical goals. Whether that simply be learning a few of your favourite songs or delving deep into musical theory and the technical aspects of the instrument.
People learn differently and therefore different teaching methods are required for each different student. Kinetic engagement is a demand of most musical pursuits but some people benefit from a strong grounding in music theory before advancing with hands on training.
My main philosophy, and from what I've seen from teaching previous students, is that what people understand the content they are faced with, their enjoyment is immediately heightened. It is important that students are enjoying the work they are doing and this enjoyment comes directly from feeling confident and understanding the content.
I love teaching from foundation to top. Try to catch something that student love and take their attention by them. I love to link subjects together and I believe It works well. Students love to solve problem with the things that they newly got. So I want to give examples from real life experiences.
I specialise in teaching children under the age of 16, but will accept any student of any age. I will teach you how to play your instrument of choice, not just the music, but also the music theory. I can teach you how to read music.
- Tips for beginners to learn quickly and also for intermediate to improve skills - Learn songs that YOU want to learn - Make your own original song - Improvisation and learning rhythm - Music theory: Excel in reading music or reading tab - Practise makes perfect
I love to write songs and playing music with other people, I also enjoy teaching other people how to play music
I facilitate the growth of my student's as guitarists and as musicians by allowing them to discover and pursue what interests them within music. Students develop far better when they are learning about things that excite them. Therefore I adapt my teaching method according to my student's interests and make sure that lessons are always focused and enjoyable.
I have not done this before but want to try to help children learn fundamental guitar basics and share some of my life time knowledge. Lessons will be hands on and student centered, they choose what they want to learn and I work around this.
As a young singer/songwriter I am gearing these lessons towards the individual as I understand that learning music is an individualized experience. I will possibly provide in these lessons the basics of acoustic guitar such as learning about the guitar (strings and notes), reading tab, basic chord shapes and basic strumming patterns.
I teach reading of notes and chords as well as improvisation for more advanced students. For younger students I provide a reading method that will enable them to move to other instruments should they choose to at a later time.
I base my classes around the learning profiles of the student, their individual needs and schedules. Playing guitar should be both fun and supportive of all students regardless of background. My youth is my asset here.
