When I want to learn a langage, or what I'd like at school was teachers who always lurnt with topic I knew and I think if you want to teach a langage to someone, he had to be inside
My lessons are geared towards people who have learned a bit of french, fell in love with it, and need to practice speaking to improve their spoken french (practice makes perfect!). My lesson can also help a professional who needs to improve their french in order to communicate more effectively at work. My method is simple, we chose a subject to discuss and we start talking! Not too hard.
My teaching method varies depending on the needs of the student. I like to do a needs analysis on my first lesson to see what the students' goals are/what they want from my lessons or/and what they need work on.
As it is my mother tongue, my french is perfect, I also speak fluently English and Spanish hence I know the struggles and issues of learning another language. I will adapt to the level of French of the student by focusing on grammar and easy vocabulary for beginners and more conversations, written exercises and reading understanding for more advanced students.
My teaching method is one-one teaching. The Turing sessions are scheduled accordingly to my availability and that of my students. Each session are done following my students' school syllabus, ensuring everything is covered by the end. I am neat, organised and a resourceful person.
First of all, I give a french text to read (one page or two), and then I ask (the student) to summarize the text during 5 and then to give an opinion about what (s)he read during 5 minutes also. I give the translation of the difficult word in an annex. At the end of this 10 minutes, I ask some questions to better understand his/her point of view.
I think that the most important is to know why you want to learn how to speak french, what you want to learn about the language and the culture. I think that the french culture is a really good way to learn, in studying French movies or series for instance, to really know how french people speak today.
I believe everyone is different and needs to be taught in a tailored way. Therefore I make sure all of my lessons are suitable for you. Visual aspects, songs, games, you name it!! I'm a very patient person, I come from a family of six children and I tutored each and everyone of my siblings.
I'll try to make you speak as much as possible. I ask a lot of questions during classes, about the current subject or about the subject studied during the previous course. My method is to make you speak more than I do, so you can have a better understanding of the language.
With me, you will expect to repeat after me and close my sentences. I know how it is important to repeat words / verbs / expression / vocabulary. I want you to enjoy lessons. It's the most important thing to learn.
My teaching methodology is based on the needs and expectations of my students. I like to find a way to make them interested in what they are learning.
Making the class as fun and interesting as possible. Make others fall in love with the subject.
I am a French primary teacher since 2010, working in an Australian school fluent in English and Catalan. I can help students from prep to grade 6 because I know both French and Australian curricula. I can provide support for any academic area and support for french learning.
Doing things and make the student forgot he’s doing them in french.
The best way to improve your french is : to speak, to write and to listen.
My method of teaching will be to aassess your level of French first and understand your need and which subject you want to focus on.
I first make sure that I understand the students’ needs and tailor my lessons accordingly; what they already know; what they want to improve and their learning speed. I approach topic by topic, that is, I make sure that my students understand the basic concepts before moving on to a new topic.
i approach topics thanks to your passion, like drawing or the music, photography. I think its better to teach the grammar/ortho with something you like.
Hello my name is Irene. I am a marketing and communication masters program graduate. I have worked as web editor for 2 years. My courses are for kids and adults. In a first time, I evaluate the level of my students. According to the goals that the students would like to reach, I will provide a special program for them. I will help you building sentences and feeling confident while speaking French.
I help the student a lot outside of the classroom as well, such as summarising articles for them so that they have a general framework to work from. I like to share my notes from year 12 as well as I think this is quite helpful.
During my career path in teaching French for non-native students, I had to teach students from different nationalities, ages and different levels and some of them were professionals looking to learn new languages as a requirement for their jobs. Therefore, each lesson is structured based on the individual needs of the student, the linguistic level and the objectives of the lesson.
Hi everybody, My name is Diego, I am 25 years old teacher from Madrid who has studied in the Lycée Français de Madrid since I was a 4 years old. I am bilingual in french and spanish, I love languages and specially teaching. I have an extraordinary work material that is essential for learning properly.
I'm a graduate student from a French University, specialised in foreign languages. I would be happy to teach french basics to beginners, deeper grammar and vocabulary to the more experienced ones. As I am not a teacher, my teaching methods will be slightly different. I'll use various supports to help you understand the language better and progress (with videos, songs, texts).
The nature of the lesson will depend on your level and personal background. So first is to evaluate rapidly your level and your purpose for learning french. Is it for school? For travelling ? For finding a french wife/husband? Then let's start speaking and adjust the lessons...and the most important don't worry about doing some mistakes.
I am 23 and got my Baccalauréat Littéraire (A level in litterary studies) a few years back. I gave French lessons in France for middle school and high school students. The method is not strict, it's about to adjust to every student... Those who need to stick to formal French, and those who would rather use slang and actual French. Films and books are a good way to improve.
that all depends on the student.
I'm a friendly French student in Melbourne with excellent knowledge of French language. I would like to offer private interactive lessons with exercises such as conversations in French about French cultural aspects, grammar, pronunciation, spelling exercices for instance - everything in a fun way! I can also prepare students to DELF and DALF.
I don't have a standard methodology, because not everyone has the same goals, so I will personalize my approach with everyone ! I can do paper-based lessons for people looking for something to reuse when needed, but I can also do group discussions to practice verbal expression !
Empathic and understanding, I will know how to adapt to your learning methods and your rhythm. First of all, we will start by the most commun verbs used in French and then continue with the presentation of yourself and basic vocabulary.
I cater my lessons to the needs and level of my students. For younger ones lots of games for example.
