I have lots of teaching experience at University level and as well as 11 & 12 level. I have around 2 years of working experience in University as a full time lecturer. In this period, I have conducted lectures on Electrical and Electronic Engineering courses to undergraduate students and also supervised few thesis students. I have practical working experience with industries as well.
I have more than two years of experiance in Enginering industry which include desiging control system, building electrical systems, provide sollutions for industrial problems. I am also doing masters in elecrical engineering. I can teach you very creative way which help you understand engineering concept and help you to get proper skill sets.
I try to assess student's basic level of understanding of the subject before starting to give lessons, so he can easily understand the subject. Also teach students by drawings and illustration. I Also have experience of giving lecture to groups.
First of all, I make a good relationship with students. Students always enjoy my lectures. Short exams are taken to test their learning. I motivate them strongly to prepare for final exam. Some turorial lecture is given to understand the question patterns and help them to develop skill to solve that particular problem.
My teaching methods will be basically on personal learning, I will give a brief about the topic with an example scenario and ask the students to apply the techniques to get the desired outcome. This will help the students to get a complete understanding of the topics provided.
I base my class on teaching the principal concepts of electrical engineering subject for undergraduate electrical engineering students and then I try to develop from that principal and simple elements to more complicated issues. As physics principles play an important role in fundamental of power engineering, I start my lessons mostly from there.
I base my classes on one-on-one teaching, with visual and contextual understanding of the course. Thereafter, the assessment could be done easily. Understanding and learning via writing and practising, is my mode of teaching. I also involve in short quizzes and assessment, after every tutoring class, to involve in constant learning.
Due to the nature of the topics I teach, I prefer the "Demonstrator, or coach style' methodology. It is midway between the teacher-centered learning style and student-centered learning style where I retain the formal authority role by showing students what they need to know.
I like to teach in an organised method where the student will learn like the bicycle learning method. My method is you will start working first and along with your work, you will learn the basics. This system is effective to earn good GPA and to be a good engineer to get a good job. With my 8 years industry experience I can teach with adding my real life engineering experience.
