My teaching method is solely based on the individual client needs, i will gain a level of understanding of current knowledge status and direction and work with you to achieve your goals. I love to interact with student as much as possible and let the think creatively and bring some new ideas.I like to teach enthusiastic and curious student with friendly attitude.I have great vision of teaching in simple and easiest way so that each and every student can understand any topics or courses theoretically as well as practically.
My class in usually fun and entertaining, specifically the examples! I like to take small batches and make sure every student gets my individual attention. You're welcome to ask silly questions regarding the subject too, cause I believe that's better rather than making silly mistakes in your exams! You can expect a quiz soon after completion of every topic or two.
I am very passionate about Economics and Mathematics. Through using real life problems, I try to instil that passion for learning by making theories relatable to practical situations. Also, I start with the necessary theory of the chapter and simultaneously looking at the application problems to give a 360 degree understanding of the subject.
Business activity is a feature of everyone’s life. Throughout the world people engage in a web of business activities to design, produce, market, deliver and support a range of goods and services. In addition, investors, consumers and employees depend on the business sector for much of their quality of life.
I have been acting as a resource person for Center for Banking Studies of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka from 2013 on the programs of Currency Management, Best Practices for Bank Tellers and Security Features of Genuine Sri Lankan Currency Notes and Identification of Counterfeit Currency Notes organized for Foreign Central Banks, Commercial Banks, and Cash handlers.
My teaching moto is to make my students say at the end of the semester that they love economics. I try to teach my students with more of the examples and less of theories to make them understand better.
I'm available to answer any problems/queries you are having at the 1st year Economics level. My aim is to have you understand the content so that you can successfully answer questions when it counts the most ....
Economics subjects can be quite tricky, so my goal is to try and make the concepts as simple and straightforward as possible. There are 2 main aspects which I believe to be extremely relevant when teaching a subject. The first one is personalization, namely adapting the subject to the student and his needs and trying to help him or her develop a valid learning method.
I do not like when the teacher just give the questions without providing the answer or takes so many hours to answer it. in my opinion, I prefer to teach my class with questions and answers at the end. I will give them some time to try to answer the questions and I will give the full answer when the class is over. so the students will have time to evaluate the questions with the answer.
My teaching approach is very methodical. I like to support underlying theories or topics with real life examples. I think associating and relating the theories with things around makes it easy to apply and understand. I believe in creating learning tasks appropriate to the student’s level of understanding.
I base my teaching method more so on understanding and dissecting questions rather than memorising course work. This gives students a distinct advantage as it allows for lateral thinking, a very useful and beneficial skill. Each lesson is customised to your needs and will focus on what you want to achieve in both the short term and the long term.
My teaching method is to know the difficulties faced by the student first, then based on that, give detail but simple explanations of the key concepts or theory behind it. I will focus on the understanding of basic and important concepts and formulas first, then guide students to apply their knowledge and skills of the concepts to solve questions.
Catering for individual needs is a cornerstone of my teaching. Not every student learns in the same way and it's my business to tailor my program to meet your needs. Each lesson is carefully structured to build on prior knowledge while giving you challenge every time. I use examples, images and analogies to help you remember the concepts you have been introduced to.
Previously, I've taught students my age, and juniors. And coming across those which find a subject difficult, I learnt to get back to the basics. My philosophy in teaching is conceptual, but I believe in achieving that goal through discussion rather than just memorizing the textbook. If a student does not understand the basics and does not understand a reason, then their concept is not clear.
Hi, my lessons are structured in different ways so as to meet the needs of my students. Our initial lesson will involve an assessment of your particular needs in the subject area you need help with. My teaching style is relaxed and friendly.
we all learn differently and I am sure that the issues that we work the hardest to understand do not generate a bit of rejection. the method that I propose is: 1. I receive from you what is a topic to discuss and possible concerns on which I should focus so as not to explain what you already know. 2 I develop the theme and see which is the best option to expose it.
Teaching is not my profession, it's my passion. I have been tutoring privately for the past 7 years now. I excel in all the subjects related to business and finance. I have been a university student for 6 years so I understand the pain and remedies to this.
I have resources available for distance based learning and electronic learning. i find the most effective learning for my subject areas is in a face to face situation whether it be a on an individual or group based learning model.
I will choose an appropriate teaching method only after a brief conversation with a student to find out what their learning needs are. I use variety of resources and tools to make a lesson interesting and engaging. YOU tell me HOW do you want it and and I try to satisfy you learning needs.
I use contents from textbook such as M. Parkin's Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. I use daily examples to make economics theories easier to understand. I can use Powerpoints if students find it better than textbooks. If students have time for doing homework I can assign homework.
I will usually ask my students to send me their study materials such as unit outline, slides and notes. Later I will go through everything with them by simply breaking down each topic starting from mentioning the key points, describing it and giving examples.
The primary focus in my lessons is the level of the student. In my opinion, the lessons should focus on whatever the student feels that he/she might need help with.
My teaching method is to focus on one area at a time. I will ask the student to inform me about the areas that he/she wants to learn prior to the lesson so that I can explain well. I will make sure the student will understand what I teach by listening to him/her, by explaining again and again and by making the lecture clear and active.
My teaching methods are focusing on topics of weakness and looking at ways the students can overcome these weaknesses. In english, I will guide them on how to write good essays and how to approach an essay question in an exam situation. For economics, I am willing to go over any detail they are confused about and help them understand the complex nature of economics.
I will pursue an active learning session with my students and prioritize their needs and requirements based on their unit structures. I will focus on specific topics and concepts that will help to build a strong understanding and improve their chances in performing well in assessments and quiz tests.
I like to walk into my classes knowing beforehand what we will be covering. Having had tutoring lessons for myself in the past, I have learnt that preparation is the key to a successful lesson. The lesson will start with a brief discussion of what we will be covering and the order we will be covering it in.
I have a very gentle nature, and this is very well-received by students. Always have a very calming, friendly presence, the students really settle into their work easily with little stress. I always give good clear instructions, both written and verbal, and know when to repeat key points to ensure students are doing the right thing.
I can teach within my field of Economics and Finance. Whether it be related to financial markets (stocks, bonds, cryptocurrencies, etc) or the study of economics (macroeconomics, microeconomics). I enjoyed learning these throughout my studies and certainly love teaching them.
It is easier to study with the passion in heart! My teaching approach is fun & friendly as I believe Math can be interesting when solving problems feels like decoding lock combinations. A tutors role is not just limited to revealing concepts and formulae, the student can find them in the book, rather create the desire, motivation and confidence to lead the work.
