This course introduces students to basic web design using HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). The course does not require any prior knowledge of HTML or web design. We will use a html/css text editor to type the code and test it on the browser. I believe in "Learning By Coding....
I analyse students to know about their IQ and teach them depending on their skill and understanding. I make sure they are confident to solve any type of problem that comes from the topic. And they will able to teach their fellow students too.
I believe in giving real life examples to the students. Apart from the theoretical coursework, I strongly believe that at least a couple of examples related to it are necessary. My lessons are for students who may or may not have a background of the subject before.
As i am going to start teaching for first time i believe in new way of teaching rather than old.I will mostly concentrate on pratical lessons i have my own laptop will help student in practising the programs in front of me. My method will be giving real time examples of every lesson and handling computer related situations real time.
I am a recent graduate with a Diploma in Information Technology from Melbourne Polytechnic. My lessons would be geared towards high school students and diploma students or anyone with a genuine interest in IT. The lessons would be taught one on one in person. Small groups are also an option.
My lessons are geared towards the beginner/novice. Each lesson is designed to understand a basic construct of the language. There are plenty of examples and exercises. As the lessons progress there are quick quizs which reinforce your understanding. I progress at your level of understanding the topic.
Depending on your current experience in website development, I will alter course structure. What I do differently is that after teaching lessons, I will explain how particular knowledge is implemented in real world. Full understanding on how projects are started in AGILE methodology and how it is deployed and executed in timely manner.
I evaluate person's level of knowledge in the field and discover the way that s/he enjoys learning. I believe knowing and understanding concepts and terminology in a field is the key for great understanding and true success in the field.
I teach with a hands on approach and real world examples.
I prefer teaching a practical approach to students so that they can remember things.
I try to grasp my students' current standing with their subject, to fully empathise with whatever difficulties they may be facing. I then create meticulously planned personalised exercises to help with the particular issue, and then help students connect it with the broader scope of the subject so that they have a full understanding. I also believe that practice makes perfect...
The main goal of my lessons is to equip student with no basis or basic understanding in computer, particularly who is interested in programming in one of the most modern and popular platform in the market, such as website design or Android device application development.
My teaching method is simple as i always try to make the basics strong for students so that no one gets left behind and than they follow through easily. Furthermore, i don't like to push things on students and instead give them chance to explore first which is why many students find me less strict than other tutors.
Flexibility is the key methodology to teaching students. The greatest issue the educational system has with teaching, is that it assumes that every student's learning style is the same, and so they teach every student only 1 particular way. Einstein further illustrates my point with an analogy "Everybody is a Genius.
I dont have an exact teaching method. But i'll start with everything general related to my chosen subject. then step by step increasing the knowledge and work. i would also prefer researches in this specific area so it will be a win-win for both student and teacher.
I like giving my students hands-on learning experiences and encouraging them to experiment (you never know until you try). A lot of interaction, communication and self-learning. My role is the 'Guide' and the learners 'Explorers'. My lessons usually start off with a short background about the topic and then it's a straight dive into the lesson.
I approach each topic practically. I give many assignments to students where they can research and practice their programming skills. I like to have lessons planned beforehand. I also provide students with useful resources to help them build their skills.
My teaching methodology is simple just create a friendly environment for students and make them active to the study and work on group discussions.Equal to each of the students in every aspects of life and work much harder on students.
I am a postgraduate university student studying both mathematics and programming and I am inspired to help others gain an understanding in this field. I will make the effort to simplify (broad) programming in a manner easily understood to someone new to the content and challenges.
The key for me is that you, the student, understands and learns. I will try my best to accommodate to your learning style, whether it be visual or hands-on. On my end I would prepare very thorough lessons and give you work to do on your own.
I typically try to apply various methods and observe the reaction of the students, measuring both their progress and interest. After a few lessons I typically know which method works with them, and which does not.
I have always tried to make computer science classes fun and use analogies related to each student's likes or areas of expertise so that they can remember everything they learn by associating new knowledge to something they are familiar with.
I am a firm believer in the constructivist theories where knowledge is built upon previous knowledge. At each success a feeling of success happens. This is called self-efficacy. I enjoy others success. Have structure to learning with easily achievable goals.
I start with the basics which includes structure, logic and problem solving skills. We would build an application in the field of your interest with the possiblility that it would be a complete usable system ready for use in a production environment.
I consider teaching as a journey. As a teacher my role is to be an enabler of it not an enforcer. I share the concepts by exemplifying them making them easier to follow.
I take practical sessions as well while teaching theory part. Students have hands on computer with all the basic tools required. Can arrange basic assignments.
Teaching is a joy for me, I strive on making the complex simple. My students receive personalised attention and care. My lessons are tailored to students according to their level of achievement on the subject, and their strengths and weaknesses. I focus on ensuring the foundations of a subject are thoroughly understood, while always providing a wider perspective of its applications.
I like to keep it simple. I teach people not lessons - everyone is different and learns differently, I like to focus on the individual and tailor lessons to their needs.
My first approach to helping students is to try to understand any issues that they may have with the subject. I will also try to assist the student in eliminating any fears with regards to the subject that may prevent them from freely studying. For actual tutoring, I will usually start from the foundations of the concepts and gradually move to more intricate aspects of it.
