My teaching methodology depends on the student and the level.
I am a passionate and reliable dancer who is willing to do everything I can to help. My lessons will be geared towards doing what you would like to receive from me.... some of those things may be: choreography, strength and pilates training, technical training, positive re enforcement and confidence boosting lessons etc...
I'll be able to give industry specialist training and strong training of technique while still having fun. I also specialise in improvisation and will be able to guid students through those tool. Was trained in a Russian method based ballet school so have very strong understanding in ballet.
I can teach all levels, and I will help you to achieve your dance goals in a fun but professional way. I will create and teach you something unique, according to the kind of event, music, or emotion you want us to work on. I'm a sweet and respectful person, and my goal as a teacher is to make the people confident and proud of themself.
Focusing on giving the ballet dancers the best I happily taught classes up to 20 students all at once. In my role as a Ballet Teacher of the Pre-School Class my priorities were focusing on the feet and establishing the correct cou-de-pied with fun but useful exercises. Teaching the importance of the correct and healthy posture by exhibiting series of port-de-bras exercises to the students.
Every lesson would be perfectly designed to each student keeping in mind his/her preferences. It is essential to develop techniques to keep the body healthy and avoid injuries. We’re going to travel around the body possibilities and connect with it having a great time.
Teaching Modern and Contemporary, I would go through Limon and Graham Technics. For Hip-Hop teaching, I can teach Old School Hip-Hop, Est Coast U.S.A. I can teach the basics of Locking/Popping and waking, West Coast Hip-Hop U.S.A. I would always talk about history before starting to teach a new group. It's the base for me. I will always start my classes with Dance Technics, including the warm-up.
Curiosity and exploring makes up my dance classes...throughout we will discover your own dance as a form of expression. A little something different is what I like to throw in, together with always having something for you to take away.
My classes are all about what YOU need to know and what YOU are struggling with. I know some concepts are hard to grasp or terminology can be difficult.
My teaching method is to dance with the body you have. Each body is different and therefore I teach a very open class (inclusive of technique) but also time for improvisation. I also concentrate on a somatic approach and injury prevention. My class will consist of a warm up of the whole body, moving into technique, floor work and then free movement.
My teaching method will involve asking you or the class members the areas you'd like to focus on, chatting about it and then gradually introducing the learner to basic steps and then a complicated sequence once I realise that your body and mind have come to the same understanding. Teaching in this way guarantees that movement will feel good.
My teaching method is very much based upon development of technique and exploration of movement that surrounds an intention or meaning, to which can be pieced within choreography. My lessons are geared toward those who wish to improve or refine their skills within multiple facets of dance including choreography and improvisation.
Practise is progress. Mind over Matter. Work for Excellence but most of all have fun. First, we begin with stretching and technique for dance safety and body awareness. Then exercises for technique, strength and conditioning.
My methodology is quite flexible to adjust students necessities and to make sure they are improving as much as they can. The main topics go around, team work, floor work, body strength, physical agility, creativity and improvisation. The general focus of my classes is to create confidence between the students and movement, allowing them to realize how movement is a natural thing in our bodies.
My teaching method is that I base my classes on commencing with a fifteen minute to twenty minute warm up involved strengthing, strengthening and aligning the body in preparation for class. Then commencing with techniqual exercises to get a solid foundation of technique whilst encouraging the student and having fun at the same time.
My teaching method is to concentrate on the fundamentals of movement that further develop your skill level. My research lies in incorporating a Mindfulness practice into dance training and how our awareness of our holistic self can benefit our optimal dance training.
I am all about providing quality training to students with a fun and positive approach. Its a tough industry, so being serious and dedicated is necessary. Hard work and determination will always pay off.
My teaching methods are very Consultative. Which I focus more on what my students want to get out of my class. I love pushing my students by alot of cleaning and repetition of dance moves in order to perfect it. I like to creative a safe and fun enviorment as I like to think of myself as a smart Jester.
I am not a ´professionally trained´ dance teacher, however I did learn a-lot competing and training over the years. I believe I have great ideas for choreography in which I would love to teach to those who enjoy dancing as much as i do! My classes would aim to give those a great workout (physical health) and also allow input from others to express themselves (emotional health).
I have been teaching on and off for both private lessons and group classes since 2012. I can teach competition solos, class syllabus, and competition group dances as well as open ballet classes, open contemporary classes, improvisation classes, choreographic development classes and much more! My class format and style depends on the students and our goals for the class.
l love joining in, so whilst l teaching i'm also one of you so students can accurately see the moves whilst also making the environment more fun and engaging :) l focus my classes on Jazz technique, Stretching and choreography.
My teaching method is opening their minds to see the art and different stages of dance. i base my classes on performance and technique. i approach topics by teaching them the backgrounds and the feeling/story that is given to each dance performance.
I BELIEVE THE STUDENTS NEED TO HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THE LESSON TO GET GOOD RESULTS. I NEVER TEACH TOO STRICT OR YELL AT MY STUDENTS. THE STUDENTS HAVE RESPECT FOR ME BUT WE CAN STILL HAVE A LAUGH AND HAVE A GOOD TIME AND WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE THEM THE DANCER THEY WANT TO BE AND MAKE THEIR DREAMS COME TRUE.
I approach each class differently depending on the children I am teaching. Age and level of difficulty always comes into affect. I always try to make it a fun environment while pushing them to be the best dancer they can be.
For my classes it is very important that my students understand and understand very well what I am dictating to them.
My teaching method is 100% always positive and I start each class with motivation and a goal. Setting a goal makes you work harder to achieve above and beyond that goal.
Basically step by step. The basic usual routine to extreme. I know, I know the feeling. Get ready and you’ll get there.
I would like to focus on private lessons, and have a reputation for greatly improving technique and performance skills. My private lessons are geared towards fine tuning performance pieces, teaching new choreography if required, and giving drills to improve technique.
The way I teach is adapted to meet each student's personal needs and capabilities. The lesson typically starts with a warm up and stretch and then focuses on what the student is wanting to improve/learn whether this be solos, technique etc.
I base my classes on the student/s in my lesson and tailor it the age, ability and interests. I base the time and detail on the students wants and needs.
