I am a teacher who has a passion for teaching, with patience and responsibility. My teaching method is theoretical and practical and always seeking to interpret songs of interest of the student.
I primarily gear my lessons towards those who are willing to learn and practice. However my course would depend on the desired genres which the student is wishing to learn. For more classical/jazz/blues related genres I would mostly encourage sight-reading practice in addition to genre-specific techniques such as finger picking, complex chords, non-conventional time signatures, etc.

At its most fundamental level, guitar playing is a physical skill, so instead of teaching scales and the boring stuff, we start off learning easy riffs or sections from rock and pop tunes. The ultimate aim may be to become a concert classical guitarist, but we begin by focusing on just playing.
My teaching method is based upon technical work from the AMEB syllabus including right and left hand exercises, scales and studies, moving on to works from various composers.
