My method in tech give hands on training. Provide more techniques in problem solving. Move with milestones .
I am a Bachelor of Science (chemistry) student at UOW with a consistent score of 85% or higher in all chemistry subjects. For lessons, I go through weekly material with students, and focus on areas which they appear to be struggling. I help with assignment questions by working through problems alongside the student.
I aim to make sessions interesting while putting students at ease. I offer a friendly, supportive opportunity to learn either face to face or over Skype. Lack of self-confidence is often a barrier to learning and I offer reassurance so that students can realise their true abilities.
I usually work on a one to one basis. This could be at a local library, at the student's home or at my own place. Whichever is most convenient for both parties and where the student feels most comfortable. Sessions can be conducted over Skype where the student feels confident in using the technology.
My emphasis is always on making the student relaxed and focusing on boosting self-confidence. Students are often more capable than they realise - they rarely "know nothing" - which is what they tell me. I work one to one or with small groups. My teaching style is to lead students in discovery rather than lecturing.
I believe one can learn only if he practices. So i will give my lectures and classes. Make them do a few problems and homeworks.
I am a Bachelor of Science student majoring in Biology and I am offering tutoring lessons for biology, chemistry and math subjects for high school students. I am also a French native speaker so I can tutor French as well. I start the lesson by reviewing the subject content with the student and I answer any questions on specific parts of the course.
My teaching method comprises of teaching children in a fun manner that develops critical thinking. Learning should be a fun, enjoyable process that engages both student and teacher. I don't believe in getting children to remember facts to simply recite back.
I love teaching students in high school, starting from grade 10.
Hi! I'm Mina. I graduated from year 12 in 2015 with an ATAR of 91.85, having studied Advanced English, English Extension 1 and English Extension 2. I currently study a Bachelor of Performance as a Dean's Scholar, with a dedicated academic focus.
I am a PhD (Civil Engineering) candidate at the University of Wollongong and have a passion for research and teaching. My methodology for teaching has always been interactive and guiding the students to grasp the concept rather than mere cramming. Further, helping the individual with the practical application of the theory in real world problems.
In historical, sociological or political learning the geopolitical background to your study allows you to have a unique understanding when preparing papers on your selected subject. I teach exclusively via online tutoring either via skype or typing directly to your queries.
I am an experienced online tutor eager to encourage students to understand History as a basis for connecting with today's society. I love sharing the joys of our historical past with students helping them to better their focus so that when giving answers they will experience the sensation of what history has taught them.
My teaching methodology is based around what I call 'Deliberate Conversation'. This means having a conversation just like you would with anyone else, but when we come across words that are new, or constructions and idioms that you could use to make your Swedish sound better, we will write them down and practise them, and keep practising them in further lessons.
My teaching methodology is based around what I call 'Deliberate Conversation'. This means having a conversation just like you would with anyone else, but when we come across words that are new, or constructions and idioms that you could use to make your English sound better, we will write them down and practise them, and keep practising them in further lessons.
I work on the basics of the students before moving ahead. I believe as soon as your basics are not clear you can't enjoy and learn properly. Besides covering the basics i lay emphasis on finishing the work within the stipulated time.
I believe in an individualistic approach to my teaching as I believe all students learn differently. I like to get to know the child and how they like to learn to ensure they get the most out of my lessons. Every child has the potential to do well and love learning and I believe my interpersonal skills and my creativity can help in developing an approach that is specific to the individual.
I like to teach students from primary to high school and like to take classes either after 5.30pm during schooldays and anytime during weekends.
My teaching method is based on cooperation with the student. I prefer to go through excersises with students in order to face the problems with which the student struggles the most. I also prefer to help students in their problemsolving instead of giving the right answers.
I believe that children learn better when they are hands on and having fun, aiming to include this in each and every one of my tailored lessons. I build relationships with children to better understand their learning styles and then adapt my lessons to cater to this, providing a lot of visual and hands on materials to work with.
My teaching methodology is making a storytelling everything. You do not have to make it very theorical for having it in mind. We humans tend to associate our knowledge with the daily happenings, so this needs to be both theorical and practical. I show you how this works, and later, it's your turn.
Before the lesson I would expect the student to tell me the area they wish to look at that week. I would read around this area, therefore being prepared for the class. At the start of each lesson, we would spend a short time reviewing what was said the previous week.
I decided to study science and communication because I love to get people excited about science. It may seem scary sometimes but with a couple of diagrams and well placed analogies I find that even the most complex of concepts can be understood.
Depending on what stage the student is at will depend on my teaching method. If the student understands all the content then I will source questions for the student to complete and challenge their understanding of maths. By extending the students understanding of the concepts of maths, they will achieve a high mark.
I have graduated as an Electrical Engineer from the University of Wollongong. I would like to play the role of a close friend to help students to solve and overcome barriers. In my teaching philosophy, relating the theories to real-life examples can engage students to solve the problems more effectively.
Theory, Practical and role plays. My lesson are structured for beginners and those with limited understanding of English. It is designed for the student to relax and have fun learning and interacting with different life scenarios so they can relate to. his helps them learn faster and relate to their own way of speaking and culture.
My teaching method revolves around determining what learning style fits my students best( eg-visual,physical,verbal or aural) through different assessments.I love conveying what students are learning through real life examples and applying the concepts to relevant parts of my students lives.
My teaching method is soft, patient and kind. I will be firm if necessary but I have a gentle way of teaching. I also make activities like games so it doesn't feel like the children are doing school work. I believe that sensory learning is vital for primary school aged children and that being able to see, touch and smell as well as hear, makes information stick in their minds.
My lessons are catered to the level of the individual, so before the first lesson I like to get to know the student and their level of understanding.
My teaching method is student focussed - I am highly adaptable to the needs of my students and their academic requirements. I have extensive resources from my own academic career which can be utilised. I am very successful at explaining and breaking down assessment questions with students, in a way that helps them understand exactly what is required of them, and how to approach this.
