I prefer for my students to bring me the work they are struggling with so that I can explain, step through the problems with them and then provide practice problems for them to work through. I am a visual and active learner myself so my teaching style will definitely benefit those who are also visual and active learners themselves.
When students struggle with topics it is primarily because some of the foundation connecting the new knowledge with already existing knowledge is lacking. To assist students in a deeper understanding of topics so that they may bridge the gaps to develop a strong acquisition of understanding is essential to comtinuous academic development.
I base my lessons on real life application. Play based is performed however recall and investigations are deliever.
In November 2017 I graduated from The University of Edinburgh with an LLM in Human Rights. I am now taking a year off prior to beginning my PhD, and am available for consistent tutoring in a range of high school subjects: English, Biology, Geography and History, or for a range of law subjects: please see my CV for specialisations.
I prefer to teach face to face. I can give lessons according to student's preference and can also provide tuition at home.
I have sources from being employed as a tutor in a previous company that I can utilise for materials to teach. I am willing to meet in person or through webcam, you will present me with what you would like to work on and we can go from there as to what materials you have and what materials I can get and how we can work together to achieve the best possible outcome.
Hi! I recently graduated from The Cathedral School, but don't be fooled; I might seem young, but I believe that my age is an advantage when it comes to connecting with your kids.

Hi! My name is Ella Foster, I am 19 and have just commenced my second year of studying a bachelor of physiotherapy at James Cook University. I am looking for some casual tutoring work outside of study. I graduated in 2015 with an OP4 and I now have a GPA of 6.0. I enjoy mathematics, english, drama and PE and would happily tutor it. I’m enthusiastic, polite and easy to get along with.
I personalise my tutoring to the needs, strengths and preferences of my students, trying at all times to make learning both fun and effective.
I believe tutoring is a time to consolidate learning, cover misconceptions and clear up confusion. Often, students need more time and support to explore concepts in deep, meaningful and hands on ways. I use my sessions to help close learning gaps and work collaboratively with students to find the areas they need support.
I create fun engaging lessons based on ACARA (Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority). Your child will be evaluated against the ACARA Literacy Continuum and tutoring will target the areas your child has gaps or if your child is gifted the lessons will reflect the level they are currently working at.
