As a teacher, I have always approached my students in an honest and open manner. From the very first lesson, I make sure they are clear about what my teaching style is: interactive, enthusiastic,well-structured and very culturally understanding. I strongly believe that what separates a good teacher from a superior teacher is the ability to connect with their students in such a way that trust is established. In my opinion, this is incredibly important. A teacher who is able to successfully build a positive rapport with their students, will undoubtedly have students who are more receptive to learning. In terms of how I teach my lessons, it really depends on the area (grammar, reading, writing, communication skills, presentation skills, listening comprehension etc.) Having experienced all of these areas, I now have the skills to fine-tune my lessons so that they are always catered to the specific student's level, include valuable skills, and involve the student in an engaging way.
