I generally do learning by doing. I start with some rapport building, diagnosis of language macro skills, expectations and goal setting. My teaching structure is informed by both the Cambridge University Press Headway series content and my general American English training experience. I use CEF-R for assessment benchmarking.
I am an international student enrolled at Monash University in Clayton. I started in May 2018 and will complete my program in December 2019. I am originally from Manila in the Philippines, were I worked as a learning and development professional, with four years or experience managing high schools as a school principal, four years in ESL and corporate learning as a training manager, and four years in talent acquisition and engagement as a human resource and recruitment specialist.
