Hello everyone, my name is Ilaria, I am an English teacher in Rome, graduated in Languages and communication and I have a Master in Translation (medical, legal, economic, technical, scientific).
Throughout my career I have had many working experiences in teaching (multi-year), both in accredited language schools, that with public and private entities, but also in private lessons.
I am used to work both with children from 2 years old, with adults up to 70 years: there is no age if there is a willingness to learn, always remember that!
Thanks to these multiple experiences I can also boast multiple teaching methods, which go from time to time depending on the needs of my students: from face to face lessons with blackboard and power point for the professional, to the coloring games and drawings lessons with the two-years-old-child; everyone has a learning channel, you only have to find it!
My classes last from a minimum of 1 hour, to a maximum of 2, but depending on the amount of work that I will do, I can decide with the student what is the best strategy for them.
Thank you for your kind attention, and I wait for you to begin a beautiful adventure with the English language!
Have a nice day!
I began teaching back in 2004 when I lived in Leeds (England), and gave private lessons in Italian, then I returned to Italy, I continued teaching English to Italians! I do not think I can say exactly how many students I've had, but counting an average of 3 per year (September to June) I would say at least forty (rounded down). The most talented and passionate, have achieved certifications recognized as PET and Toefl, those who did it "only" for passion, however, have still succeeded in their aim to use English to go on vacation with friends!
My rates can obviously vary (increase or decrease) depending on various matters: my travel, student's level, student's needs. Students are all different and may have different needs, therefore the rates will be fixed according with them at the beginning of the course.
I have a degree in Languages and Communication and I have a Master in Translation (medical, legal, economic, scientific technique).

My most important experience is surely that of interpreter at various conferences important for tourism, where I was translating Mr. Ronald Packard, and of course that of the English language trainer at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome.
