My teaching method would be ideal in a one to one setting. I believe that I am capable of teaching the subject of English at a Secondary school level. My teaching method would first to identify areas in which pupils would struggle, then to explain it to them in a calm and friendly manner, gradually building up a large degree of understading within the pupil in areas in which they struggle.
I am a student at the Univerity of Stirling studying English Literature, I have had experiences with tutoring throughout my years in Secondary School education and am very much inept with the practices of both working and educating children/ teenagers.

While working as a Carer for Turning Point Scotland I specialised in working with children with various learning disabilities, across a wide array of the established spectrum. While working in this position I was able to greatly enhance my own initiative and problem solving abilities, while at the same time greatly developing my capability to work with a team.
