I am currently teaching Maths and Science units to High school students

Methodology

I have always wanted to work with children and am passionate about their safety, wellbeing and diverse needs. I believe that teachers are the foundational building block for students learning and integration into society. Being a mum, I know all children learn differently and are talented in different areas; this is something I will be sure to highlight with in my classroom.
My particular interest lies in social and emotional wellbeing of student and student’s diversity. I believe it is critical for all children to learn about their own and the social emotional wellbeing of others in order to look after their own mental and physical wellbeing. I focus on cultural diversity, interfaith, disability awareness, and social change in my lessons and I have witnessed the effects negative mental health on some people in my life, it is imperative for us to be supporting students in learning how to look after them. I also focus on strategies students can use to support themselves. Further, I believe that as a teacher, I need to support the whole child through ensuring they are enjoying and engaged in learning which will support them in becoming lifelong learners and having a deeper understanding of themselves.

I am a high school and upper primary teacher. I can teach Maths and science units from k-12. Currently I am teaching Maths ( Apps and methods) and Science units at St. Clare's college ACT.
I am a Maths and Science teacher and can teach Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and other science units.
