My teaching methodology is based on a student-led approach whereby I tailor creative individual learning projects to a student's interests and knowledge. This means that each student's lesson structure will be uniquely based on their real-world experiences.
I am a visual artist with skills in sculpture, drawing, videography, and installation art. My previous experience as a university lecturer with a solid knowledge base in art theory, contemporary art, ancient and modern history has led to mentorship of students of all ages. I also have experience in providing literacy learning support to primary school students in the classroom.

I am a current Doctor of Creative Arts candidate at University of Southern Queensland, and hold a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Bachelor of Creative Arts First Class Honours. Through my degrees, I have developed a strong contemporary art practice, exhibiting nationally and internationally, as well as undertaking curatorial roles in university and artist run initiative settings. Other interests include providing art workshops to dementia sufferers as a creative therapy. I love interacting with people from diverse backgrounds in service and educational support roles, which is reflected in my lecturing and customer service work experience.
