I'm a student from the U.S. studying at the University of Aberdeen working towards my BSc degree in physics. I personally have always required a deeper understanding of academic material in order to truly succeed in my studies. Whenever understanding is lacking, I believe in going back to the basics so that by the end of the day not only do I know how to solve a particular math/physics problem, I can adapt my knowledge to apply what I've learned to similar problems while knowing what the numbers mean/represent. I do not believe in memorizing strategies or question types because I know this only gets one so far. This is how I approach all teaching sessions. If a student is having trouble, it is usually due to an incomplete foundation.

I have tutored fellow students all throughout my High School career as well as younger primary school students. (Chemistry at elementary level, Maths and Physics at higher level).
All of my previous students have gained loads of confidence in their mathematical skills and usually have many "ah-hah" lightbulb moments.
