The methodology to be used will be discussed with the student on the first assessment to identify their level, preferences and goals. As soon as we have this clear, a text book and work book will be chosen as a guide for the class. Besides that, a complementary material is prepared to improve each skill in the real situations.
In addition, the French and Brazilian culture are discussed and different subjects, which the students are interested, are also brought to make the learning process even more dynamic.
The teaching-learning is a particular process are so why a frequent progress assessment is necessary in order to adjust the suitable methodology to each student.
I am Agricultural Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in pedagogy by Escola Superior de Agricultura “Luiz de Queiroz”- Brazil and Master’s degree in viticulture and oenology by L’École Supérieure d'Agricultures d’Angers- France. I have been teaching French and Brazilian Portuguese for more than 2 years and during this period, I had experiences in a private language school in Brazil, teaching trough skype, and offering private lessons for individuals or small groups. Currently, I am teaching French privately on the Gold Coast- QLD for students who are English speakers.
Students who have been thought could had their goals achieved which include reach the required level of French to start studying at French universities, applying for scholarships or even to improve languages knowledge to enhance career opportunities, or just to enjoy traveling to francophone countries.
