My teaching method is PBL and CBL. By story telling and vivid pictures and movies, students are interested in the learning progress. Instead of talking all the time, I involve my students by activities and questions. I enjoy studying classical Chinese literature such as Dream of the Red Chamber, and recently attended a course offered by National Taiwan University via Coursera.
I've been actively in teaching in the linguistics field for ten years, specializing in teaching between English and Chinese. I have a Bachelor of Economics degree, as well as numerous certifications in teaching English as a second language and Chinese as a second language. My latest achievements are the Cambridge CELTA, attained in December 2016, and the Confucius Institute Headquarter's Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, attained in September 2017. Currently, I am enrolled in the Cambridge DELTA, and have thus far completed the first module. I am expecting to complete an MBA in June of this year.
