I'm 26 yo French native willing to share my language and culture. To learn a foreign language, the only way is to practice, I therefore offer french class, teaching the basics in grammary and conjugation, but focusing on vocabulary and prononciation through conversation about diverse topics, french culture, movies, or short imaginary dialogs about situations you could find yourself in if you'd go to France.
I have experience back in France tutoring students in litterature and philosophy. They all passed their exams. Since I arrived in Australia a year ago, I've been giving french lessons to people I met during my travels, and enjoyed it.
Teaching french, I want to make it entertaining. I have lots of patience and understanding of the difficulty of learning a foreign language. Sitting at a table listening to someone talking doesnt work, you need to talk yourself. What matters the most is vocabulary, and to remember any word you have to hear it, write it and use it. That's why the lessons would be mostly conversations, with a hint of writing, in order to exercise visual memory. At the end of each lesson, the sudent would leave with a list of useful words remember.
Cancellation policy : to learn a new language you have to stick to it, therefore too many cancellations would lead to me finding other students that would be more comitted. In case of cancellation, a 24h notive would be appreciated.
