Rmit university graduate teaching Spanish privately and at a primary school for 5 years

Hi,
I have taught Spanish for several years, my approach to teaching os to make the lessons as engaging as possible. I believe the student should be allowed to experience the target language in fun and exciting way. My aim is to always integrate varied learning techniques to encourage students engagement and Cultural awareness.

I would like to charge $35 for VCE levels learners but for other levels $
27-30
Additional travel costs would depend if I have to drive to a location too far away to teach

I teach spanish, oral expression - spanish, oral comprehension - spanish, vocabulary - spanish, written comprehension -spanish. For the level(s)primary school, early high school, year 10, year 11-12, TAFE, undergraduate, diploma/certificate, masters, phd, beginner, intermediate, advanced, professional, kids.

Professional Reflection

I am a professional, committed, qualified teacher who has gained relevant experience through casual Primary and/Secondary school levels teaching roles. I seek to expand my teaching skills to support the personal and academic development of children in various educational and or adult settings.
I strongly believe that multi-sensory and interactive learning teaching methods are not only the most effective for learning but also the most enjoyable for both pupil and teacher. A classroom should integrate both whole class and individual-centered tasks, it should aim to be an exciting, knowledge-driven environment, where the dynamics of engagement are shared between the students and the teacher. My teachers, mentors and assessors have commented on "a very calm and purposeful atmosphere" in my classrooms and stated that children are "often engaged and excited". I believe in creating a classroom environment that promotes appreciation, where every voice can be heard and valued and everyone has a common understanding. I set high standards in terms of professional engagement, both in terms of attainment and behaviour management, and I believe that effective learning is enhanced within a secure and structured setting. Active and energetic. I have always aspired to gain the most influence in my classrooms and promote a neutral learning environment. I have enjoyed teaching across all levels and I believe it is a real privilege to be in a position to inspire and enable children at the very beginning of their formal education.
