I am an experienced and effective teacher with strong content mastery in History, Social Studies and English as a Second Language. This enables me to select relevant materials and design enriching learning experiences for my pupils.

I am a qualified teacher with Postgraduate Diploma in Education as well as Diploma in TESOL.
Since the completion of my studies, I have accumulated several years of work experience in the Ministry of Education – for the most part as a Humanities teacher in Kranji Secondary School, and then as a Gifted Education Officer in the Curriculum Planning and Development Division, Ministry of Education.
During my years at Kranji Secondary School, I was deployed to teach various levels and streams of students which demonstrates my versatility in adapting my teaching style to different learner profiles. As a Christian, I was the teacher in charge of the Boys Brigade company in my school.
