Hello everyone ! My name is Serge Hirsch, I am 29 years old and I'm a professionnal violinist. Although I studied violin at the Amiens Conservatory for 10 years, my first love is improvisation and jazz. I also play the piano and have a degree in musical analysis.
I usually gives lessons to :
1. Students who already play the violin or the piano and wish to learn how to improvise
2 Students who wants to learn music in general (all age)
My teaching methodology is strongly influenced by Dominique Hoppenot.
I have been giving lessons for 5 years and have already trained a dozen of students from professionals (classical musicians) to amateurs.
My teaching philosophy is based on two simple facts : music must be enjoyable and the violin has to become a natural object. When you're striving for those two things, you improve yourself tremendously.
