As I do not have much teaching experience, I prefer to start as a one on one tutor so both of us can communicate and learn in a very relax environment. Also, as I only have to teach one student at a time, they can have my whole attention and I can make specific study plans for each individuals based on their language level, expecting achievements and other personal needs.
For the learning material, according to student's language level, I will prepare them before each class to guarantee that they meet the learner's needs. Also, I might prepare some quiz to test if the student has enhanced the knowledge.
I'm a newly graduated student from the university of Adelaide with a degree of master of applied linguistic. As a linguistic, I'm passionate about language and how it works. As a result, I'd love to share my mother language, which is mandarin, to others, and as well as to learn new other languages (currently working on Spanish). I've never taught as a formal teacher before but I do did some researches & teaching practices when I was at Uni, so I believe myself to become a qualified mandarin tutor and hopefully you can prove that I'm right.
