I have very good listening skills and I benefit from this ability as I am able to connect with students and make the lessons engaging and never boring. I strongly believe in the importance of supporting students in their learning process, keeping their motivation high and understanding what is the goal they want to achieve by learning Italian in order to reflect it into the lessons.
My teaching method is based on the affective-humanistic approach and I consider the emotions and thoughts of each individual student important for the positive success of the lessons, reason why my classes are characterized by a bright and friendly atmosphere, vowed to promote dialogue, interaction and exchange of ideas. Furthermore, I am a very empathic individual and I believe that patience is my best strength. I have increased this ability by working with foreign students as an Italian Teacher and Language Support, helping them to move their first steps into the language and assisting them through their learning path, always maintaining a professional, friendly and encouraging attitude which has helped them to face the difficulties of learning a new language and integrating within a new cultural environment with success.
I am a qualified native Italian Language Teacher in possession of a Masters Degree of Teaching the Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners of the University Ca Foscari of Venice and a Bachelors Degree in Italian Language and Culture of the University for Foreigners of Perugia. I have several years of experience working as a Language Tutor, Italian Teacher and Italian Language Support to Immigrants and Foreigners. I have been working as a contractor Italian Teacher for Listen & Learn, a multinational company specialized in language courses for individual and corporate clients, organizing exclusive all age tailor-made, one to one or small groups Italian Language classes in Dublin, Ireland. Also, I have experience working as an Italian Language Support to Immigrants and Foreigners in M.Grecchi Secondary School based in Perugia, Italy, providing language support to foreign students recently arrived in the country by the structure of personalized learning plans in order to help them to master the language as quickly as possible and integrate within the school contest, with their classmates, and into the Italian Culture.
