Hello! I'm a 25 years old girl who just moved in Sydney from Rome. Passionate about reading books and learning new languages since I was a child, after high school I decided to make my passion part of my professional carreer: I've studied French and German language and literatures at University, and at the same time I shared my interest about languages with others by giving Italian lessons and, after some time, by tutoring other students in French and German learning. There is something magic in taking care of students' work and in witnessing their improvements!
Since I spent so much time and efforts in language learning myself, I've had the possibility to develop a personal learning/teaching method characterised by several kinds of tricks to improve lexical memory, assimilate grammar rules and expand communication proficiency overall.
I believe that learning a new language is like starting an engaging and electrifying journey, which will be full of surprises and will lead you to discover, not only your potentiality, but also the whole cultural ad human world which hides underneath linguistics, and I'm looking forward to be part of you journey!
I started tutoring and teaching while I still was in high school, by taking part in an organization for migrants' and refugees' rights. I volunteered there for two years, working with a team of professional teachers by teaching Italian language to migrants in order to make them as autnomous as possible in their new life in Italy.
When I started university, I was in touch with many international students who were willing to improve their Italian or to just start learning it, so I started to propose myself as a tutor and teacher. After two years of French and German studying, I felt competent enough to offer my skills in that linguistic field as well: I've been tutoring, for three years, middle and high school students, as well as international and younger students from my own faculty.
