Yoga & Meditation are highly beneficial holistic and ancient tools which still work today to support mental stability and clarity in our society. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT200hr) who also manages my own Yoga & Meditation business online (thewaywardjournal.com).
My teaching methodology is about the student. I teach from what is needed for the students. I teach at a level that is safe and appropriate with room to develop the mind, body, and spirit. I am interested in teaching a full class that incorporates the breath (pranayama), the postures (asanas) and the mind.
To be a yogi, all you need is a body and an open mind. The mind-body connection of yoga can heal lives in ways people have never imagined.
What do you think about yoga? Diet, beauty, stretch to improve your posture? That is correct too. However, the physical effect appears as a result, not the original purpose of yoga. In Indian traditional yoga, we will not only focus on poses and the body but also observe humans as part of the universe created with "prana".
My teaching method is a combination of theory and practical. However the nature of my lessons are more practical and hands on lessons. I take my students through a full fitness session depends on what their specific interest is. This takes for 1 hour of training so the students fully underestand how other clients feel in their body when performing the movements.
My yoga class is not just about physical exercise. I threat the spiritual side of yoga into my classes. My students love my classes because they are relaxing, empowering and energising. I love cultivating supportive community and assisting my students to overcome their obstacles in their lives by yoga and meditation. “We are all just walking each other home.”—Ram Dass.
Lysha typically sets a focus for each class (a peak pose, stretching, breathing, etc.). Depending on what the student is in the mood for, the class can focus on strength-building, stretching, pranayama (breathing), meditation and/or relaxation practices.
I base my class on from basical thing and getting increase the level Yoga is focus on your own body so I always recommend dont do over work Just follow your flow
Hello everyone, My name is Florian, and I am a certified Yoga teacher. I have trained in Khajuraho, India and I am now giving private and open classes in Melbourne CBD. My classes usually last 1 hour, and they are organized as such: - Warm up exercises - Asanas (Yoga poses) - Final relaxation Please note that all exercises and poses include variations suitable for all levels.
For me yoga means giving attention and kindness to your mind, body and soul. In my classes I trie to close of the outside world so one can pay attention to that what's happening inside their mind and body. A safe environment, relaxing music, help were needed and breathing are important in my classes.
I tailor my lessons and plans to your needs including health assessments from doctors, nutritionist etc.. along with your ultimate goals you are looking to achieve.
My teaching methodology is very much catered to the student I am teaching. In running a yoga class I also always make sure we work on relaxation, stretching and strengthening. I also give tips on how to bring yoga into daily life rather than just in class.
I teach [Pancha Kosha Yoga] which is very traditional and scientific! :) I have learnt it from my Spiritual Guru! This program is taught by only few teachers now. I am the one who most teaching outside. This pancha kosha yoga is based on Sankhya philosophy, Chakra theory and Pancha kosha theory according to Ancient yoga texts.
I approach my student with an open and friendly mind, spending the first 10-15min of the first session discussing what they would like to achieve in our classes, any health issues and any restrictions in movement. I will then design my classes based on this information to ensure that each student feels that they are making progress against their goals.
Briohney teaches a mindfulness approach to Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga from a Traditional style understanding the power of breath, healing practice of meditation and using movement to connect deeper awareness towards the body on a holistic level.
Yoga is a way of life. It's about the flow and connecting to your surroundings, the air in the room, the sound of your breath and the thought in your head.
Anything done in haste is not done well: I take my time with my students and mould the class to their needs, the season and climate.
Combining my experience and passion for Yoga, Martial Arts and Dancing, I aim to provide students with challenging, yet accessible classes with a focus on movement principals. I hope to guide students as they open to a feeling of inner peace amid the relative intensity of the Asana practice, helping them to stay calm and soft while string and stable.
I teach vinyasa flow and incorporate arm balancing in my classes. I strongly encourage students to find their own balance of effort and ease in developing their intuition to guide them in their practice. I am an ardent astanga student and arm balance enthusiast allowing me to incorporate a balance of yin and yang in my teaching.
My teaching method is always set on the foundation of mindfulness and compassion towards ourselves. My classes are nurturing mixed with strength building postures. My goal is to help each student connect their body, mind and spirit through a mindful practice.
I base my classes on the needs of the student. I am happy to tailor and/or work on specific things that the yogi is after. If you want to work on your Asana practice, I can design flows suited to your capabilities or something a little more challenging. If you want to work on your meditation practice, I can facilitate that also.
I tend to teach spontaneously depending on the student I have, although I prepare the class, that would suit the student's request (I ask what they want to focus on, flexibility/strength etc.). We are all different and have our own experience in our yoga practice. We may like something more Yin, or more Yang, so I offer different styles and rhythms.
Individual approach to each student. Asanas, pranayama, meditation, lectures about yoga philosophy, about energy, how to manage of your energy, how we can use yoga in everyday life and e.t.c Yoga - this is a spiritual way, not only way for achievement of fitted body.
My main focus is yoga for health. There are no age limitation or ability limitations, since I have more than enough experience to adjust my classes to my students goals and abilities. I will never skip the relaxation part at the end of a session, since that is very beneficial for body and mind.
My teaching methods revolve around created a high sense of awareness of your body and your mind through a variety of techniques. With that awareness, students are able to empower themselves and have more clarity of their strengths and weaknesses.
