My teaching method is and has always been focusing on my students' most urgent learning needs to help them gain necessary skills in speaking, writing, reading and listening, acquire confidence in expressing themselves in English, and therefore I practise a personal approach in teaching my students and design classes for them individually.
I am currently in my last semester finishing off my Psychology degree with aims to continue with honours next year. I wanted to give back some of my time to helping students also achieve their goals. My teaching method will focus on what the students specifically need help with or what they find difficult. There are many different concepts to teach something difficult so nothing is impossible.
The principal aim of my teaching is to introduce students to a range of tailored resources and research/study/writing methodologies, and to encourage critical thinking beyond mainstream educational paradigms and practices.
I prefer to teach through a casual conversation style which relaxes the students. This allows our interaction to feels less like formal lectures and more of a peer-to-peer interaction. Throughout the lesson I like to run drills to make sure that the concepts are landing.
My teaching approach is to involve the students as much as possible in their own learning. I want to encourage lots of interaction between learners and myself, and / or between two or more learners. I like to keep lessons moving with a variety of activities including the four key elements of language learning: listening, speaking, reading / viewing and writing.
I believe every student is different and hence my methodology is student-centred driven. Lessons will be prepared and adapted based on your needs. They will include theory (grammar rules, word choice and writing conventions) and lots of practice to master each skill. I will provide exam tips to help you maximise your scores.
My teaching method is purely based on learner based. It depends on how the learners want to learn about the topics or subjects. It can be textbook based or use of multi-media tools for learning activities.
I like to approach a topic by first making sure I know the level of understanding the person I am teaching has for any given topic, and then go from there. I know learning can at times be frustrating if you're struggling to understand the content and that you might want to give up, so I aim to make my lessons easy to understand without it being too overwhelming.
My teaching method is a hands on learning experience where I provide students with tools to help comprehend topics in an easier to understand way. I want students to feel independant while still having the assistance to build upon their own knowledge.
Freedom and humour are two of the most important things for me, both in teaching and in learning – these are the memories I find most humbling looking back on my own school experiences. The relationship between student and teacher is equally important and there needs to be space to allow for it to take place. I specialise in helping people take enjoyment in language.
As a tutor currently entering my fourth consecutive year of English and Legal Studies tutoring, I've been exposed to a diverse range of student problems. Guided by my mantra that every student can improve if given the proper guidance, I have helped many of my students achieve significant improvements in their marks.
My teaching method is based on the student feeling comfortable and relaxed. I don't put pressure on the student, and I am willing to teach in a way that will suit the individual person. I believe that having fun and experiencing new places whilst studying can be a productive and enjoyable way to learn.
I always try to get along with my students and have a firm understanding of their strengths and weaknesses so I can prepare my lessons efficiently. Start from the basics and work my way up to advance skills. I aim for an easy-going, efficient and comfortable sessions.

I tailor my tutoring to suit a student's goals. I will talk with you about what you want from your study and prepare materials that are relevant to you. You may be wanting to practise for exams, or apply for a job. You may want help with homework, or reading and writing.
My life experience as a migrant has become the root of a keen interest in diversity and multiculturalism. I believe education to be the key to the future and that we all constantly learn from each other. To approach the subject with a focus on the student's interests, promotes engagement and facilitates building knowledge and skills simultaneously, using audiovisual aids and experiential learning.
I have recently moved to the Gold Coast after living and teaching in South Korea for the past 12 years. A fundamental component of my class is comfort. I create an environment where my students are able to as comfortable as possible in order to promote participation. My classes are tailored to the students needs and wishes.
I am friendly and have a relaxed approach, encouraging my students in their abilities and building confidence to help them achieve their potential in all areas. I enjoy creating interesting activities that are engaging and fun! I believe that learning is easier when the process is enjoyable and focuses on what students are interested in developing skills.
I am a current PhD candidate at the University of Tasmania. I have completed a Master of education degree from the Monash University Melbourne. I have been tutoring English, social studies and students of other subjects for last 17 years in addition to teach various other subjects in schools.
My approach to learning is individual-oriented. Depending on the needs of the student and their learning style, I adapt content and delivery for their unique requirements. Lessons will be friendly but packed with information, and I encourage the developing of your own opinions and contributions in class.
I teach by blending my personality with my student's needs and curriculum-appropriate methods. I make sure that the student will be comfortable with me so that he or she will learn without feeling bored and pressured. Lessons should me matched with what the school requires but I make sure that I give my own inputs.
My teaching method is structured around each individual student - this means that the teaching method depends on the type of student. I will provide my students with a set of work I expect to be completed each lesson and offer help and guidance when needed.
I try to make my lessons as personal as possible so students remain interested. There is always a way to draw together student interests and the topic at hand. It is also important to start with the objectives, and then work towards those goals with the building blocks of vocabulary, grammar, and then spontaneous oral production.
My general structure involves one hour reading over a students work, and then an hour discussing with them what needs to be improved and how they can do so. This is an easy process that allows for students to publish/complete work confidently.
I believe that students have their own time and pace in learning new lessons or even in reviewing lessons. Rest assured that I will be patient, approachable, and will set techniques to different student so that they will effectively learn.
I base my classes on the students I have and their needs. I want to ensure that my students get what they need from me from each lesson. I am open to any and all questions and will go at the pace you need to feel that you understand the concepts. I speak clearly and use simple language until students are comfortable and feel ready to move up.
I have a student-centred approach to teaching. I first base my classes on a mixed-methods approach of structured, unstructured and interactive learning techniques in order to identify the students learning style. I identify the students strengths and weaknesses and work with styles that are best suited to the student.
Hello! I am Fruzsi and I have 7+ years of English teaching experience. I taught more than 200 students in Australia AND Japan, and love it! I teach beginner/ intermediate/ advanced/ professional students + exam prep. My method is both traditional + creative! I use many exercises and techniques to help my students master English.
I believe in facilitating classes, with learning being focused on active student participation and engagement. Instead of rote learning, students are actively challenged to reach their own conclusions with questions, discussions and corrections. I also incorporate much application of the language in daily life through engaging anecdotes / stories and relevant examples.
Student-centred learning is my preferred methodology. I work with my students to determine the most effective methods for them to achieve their goals. I support students to identify their learning style and develop a learning plan based on their needs and timeframe.
