I recognise that each student learns differently, and so I often spend the first interaction developing a sense of how to best to teach each individual. Depending on your requirements, sessions can be highly flexible and tailored to your needs. Although students tend to like to reinforce their strengths, I like to focus on weaknesses in order to make them no longer such.
I try to stay authentic and simple while taking the level of my student(s) into consideration. I believe that they should be taught practical and useful things. This does not prevent from taking place in a relaxed and fun way.

I believe shaping my teaching method to a student's needs is crucial for his/her success. Despite being more on the progressive end of teaching, I also believe essentialism is at the core of mastering the basics of French given the language's heavy focus on grammar.

Depending on the level of French you have and your difficulties my methodology is not the same. For someone who starts face-to-face classes will be more beneficial and it will be mostly oral expression. Each course adapts according to the person and what she is looking for.
