It varies from student to student. I always start my lessons by having a quick chat with the student, just to see how they are. We then get into the content, using some games and other activities to help with the subject matter. We then finish off with a quick lesson review.

My teaching method depends on individuals' needs. Generally, I prefer demonstration and reflective strategies where I firstly explain the importance of given task, show all the steps to perform the task and then let the students solve the similar problems where they can learn from their own mistakes with my guidance.
I prefer to organise my lessons with the student providing me material that needs attention and then working through the problem areas. I believe this is the most time effective method and where my help can be best used. Of course if the student has another preferred method i am more than happy to follow the style of learning they achieve best using.
