My teaching method depends on the student and studies they undertake. I am strict with pre reading and homework for progression of the students learning. Problem solving is a priority as well. However, Im easy going person and flexible to accommodate.
It varies from student to student. I always start my lessons by having a quick chat with the student, just to see how they are. We then get into the content, using some games and other activities to help with the subject matter. We then finish off with a quick lesson review.

I believe the best way to learn maths is to do practice problems. However it is very important to also explain the concepts rather than just formulas and rules. Whenever an issue, question or confusion comes up in a problem, it can be explained so that the student can gain a solid understanding of the concept.

When there are up coming tests or exams I will organise practise tests and help students focus on areas which they nee more confidence in. If students like I can provide practise exams/ test which they can do under exam conditions.
My teaching method is more of relating the studies to real life. I am sure we relate to things that we see daily than to things which we find virtual & read & see in the books. Lessons will be completed before time just to make you correlate what the lessons actually meant. I have tried implementing what i have learnt through my research jobs.

Hi , I am Austin Jimson. I am 4th year Electronics and Communication engineering student from Edith Cowan university. I have been taking math tuitions for university and school student since 2 years.
My teaching style is to introduce the topic to the student as easy as possible in order that he/she is able to engrave it efficiently. Plus, the topic is not finish until the student is able to explain the topic to me freely.
My way of tutoring is making hard things very simple and understandable to my students. I usually use samples from life, comparing them with Maths problems and resolving them. It is very important to have friendly connection with student, but also I am very reliable and responsible tutor.
- I believe in helping students who want to help themselves, without this desire my methods of teaching would not be as effective. - I would first tackle any conceptual misunderstandings they may have in the subject; by starting out with basic exercises to build a string foundation in their conceptual knowledge then tackle more advanced questions.

I do believe that when it comes to studying, the teacher (or tutor) must listen to what are the strengths of his student, how best his student thinks he can remember and work on his subjects. Some people are better with listening, other with reading. I don't believe there is only one way of teaching someone, we always have to adapt.
