I always plan my lessons using practical examples and illustrations for my students.I believe that unless and until one can visualise mathematics, one cannot learn it or take interest in it.My teaching methods have been extremely helpful for the students find mathematics hard to understand. I readily get the problems of my students and intend to make the little concepts clear instantaneously.
• I am a very social and approachable person, therefore, I love to make my classes interesting and engaging. • I don’t believe in the conventional approach followed in schools going one chapter after the other. My lesson structure is tuned to cater to the needs of the student. • Students learn a lot of information in the classroom at school.
I cater my style to the individual need of the student. I like to ensure there is a very solid understanding of the fundamentals before approaching more challenging concepts/questions. I believe it's imperative that students have an intuitive understanding of the main topics before getting into the detail.
I'm all about fun. Pencil and paper doesn't work for everyone, so I make it my challenge to find a way which engages my students and helps them to really explore the subject. No question is a silly question. Questions are key to unlocking understanding, and I aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed learning environment which encourages question asking and curiosity.
I love math because the numbers have GREAT significance! Therefore, I would love to have students who are passionate about learning, to make a difference in their world with what they learn. With math, all it takes is PRACTICE so, there would be a teaching session, a practice session and an assessment session.
I am a Master of Engineering (Electrical) student at the University of Melbourne. I have 8 years of teaching experience in teaching Maths and Physics. I was a teaching assistant during my tenure of 1.5 years in IIT Kanpur, India.
I base my lessons on what the student would like to work and improve upon. I like to look at their overall course outline to effectively build upon and progress the student in line with the timeline that their school follows to keep them on top of their work. I believe that each student has the ability to achieve success and it is my goal to support them in doing so.
My teaching method depends on the student. However, on a general note, I prefer to explain the concepts first, and any questions from the students will always be appreciated. I regularly check my student's homework and give feedback on it.
Each student learns differently and I acknowledge this with different learning techniques to mature working memory, trigger recall, fill gaps in content knowledge and understand new concepts. I approach lessons with patience and work with each student to set a goal that they would like to achieve by the end of our session.
my teaching methods are face to face discussion, brainstorming, role-play, games related to topics, teacher demonstartion and students demonstration. find out the way which is more suitable for different categories students. My philosophy of teaching is that all children are unique and have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, and socially.
Once I know the student, I make sample problems that are tailored to the weak points of the individual student. The problems are designed to ensure mastery of the basics, and then I build the student's skill level up to solve more difficult problems.
My teaching method is so simple and very easy to understand. I explain in an interesting way that the student can understand the topic. I make the sums practical and the step by step procedures of solving the sum are clearly explained, so that it will be easy to the student to study.
I prefer to teach people the methodology to self learn. I do this by first breaking down and explaining a concept. I then explore the concept from different angles backed up by examples to clarify them. I then go on to discuss how similar problems could further be solved by the student alone.
Teaching Methodology: I always find the best easiest way to explain. My teaching style is based on involving the student effectively in the learning process rather than being a listener, so you want not be just watching. All teaching materials will be provided to you and you don't have to be worry about taking notes(including online videos to those who prefer far distance learning).
Maths is taught best when it is made relatable. I use common examples and everyday examples to make complicated areas of the subject more understandable. I assess the student's ability to learn and teach using the most viable method for the student to retain information.
My teaching methodology is "Demonstrator or coach style". I always work very hard to make my student take interest. I believe, mathematics is a game. My students really enjoy learning maths from me. Task completion is my first priority compare to others.
My lessons are geared towards students learning Math at the beginning level as well as advanced level. Students are re-explained the lessons, helped with homework difficulties and get to undertand in a logical way.
For physics and Math lessons I usually introduce the idea or concept to the student, mostly I relate the application it has in their day to day life. Then the student is introduced to problem solving techniques in that particular topic.
"Friendly", "approachable" ,"enthusiastic", "interesting", "bad-ass in mathematics and science", these are probably the words you will think about me and my lessons. I strongly believes that the interaction between a tutor and a student is one of the most important factors in the tuition.
My teaching method depends on each students according to what they need. I have had many different experiences. I usually send homework since I believe it is hard to improve just by what I can offer, therefore there has to be some work on the side.
I do teach together and individually. At first, I individually understand each student approach to the subject and provide suitable assistance and support to help them understand the concept in a much better and simpler way.
I'm enthusiastic about seeing students achieve! I start by asking the student about their strengths, weaknesses and interests, then I will try to taylor my lessons accordingly. I like to use a variety of activities that may include textbook exercises or practical applications.
I am doing professional tutoring for couple of years with great success over student's improvement. I have even taught TAS teacher for improving concepts in general maths and civil engineering. Working with maths could b fun when you realise numbers can draw pictures for you. Maths is easy when it is done stepwise and with multiple perspectives and representations.
My teaching method is a traditional way where the student is not dependent upon the calculators and technology. I think that makes the student stronger than he was before. I also deal with Vedic mathematics and short tricks to calculate.
from the usual method, I adapt to many different methods based on my students. If everyone was to learn from the same method, then a classroom teacher would suffice. the usual method would be to break down a subject in several parts, introducing a student to these parts and then connecting these parts together, like a puzzle. though this approach is mostly used for science subjects.
The essence of maths is not to make simple things complicated, but to make complicated things simple. I, as a tutor make maths look fun and easy for students who have difficulty in solving even the most basic questions of maths.
I am helpful and can provide the students with knowledge in many fields and have good communication with students can be in support at any time always my phone is available if there is a question or any thing that is not clear
Teaching will be based on the students level of understanding. The students will be completing the syllabus purely by understanding the methodology. The syllabus won’t be completed just to cover time frame. Will give a time frame of 1 month to see if the student is interested to do lessons, if not will discontinue classes as this is not done for the purpose of earning but passion.
During my studies i personally dealt with having to teach myself how deconstruct the required concepts for completing the courses, due to this i have gained skills in being able to break difficult information down into simpler concepts, while not excluding the crucial details.
When teaching I ensure that I am relating it back to something that will help students understand. I also like to break things down to not only make things as simple for students but it also allows them to refresh their basic techniques. Repetition is also key in my personal opinion.
