I'm all about fun. Pencil and paper doesn't work for everyone, so I make it my challenge to find a way which engages my students and helps them to really explore the subject. No question is a silly question. Questions are key to unlocking understanding, and I aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed learning environment which encourages question asking and curiosity.
I am an engineering graduate with my strengths lie in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and applications of all three along with problem solving skills. As a fresh graduate, I have a first hand experience of the learning environment of what students are exposed to as I am one of them as well not long ago.
I love math because the numbers have GREAT significance! Therefore, I would love to have students who are passionate about learning, to make a difference in their world with what they learn. With math, all it takes is PRACTICE so, there would be a teaching session, a practice session and an assessment session.
I always plan my lessons using practical examples and illustrations for my students.I believe that unless and until one can visualise mathematics, one cannot learn it or take interest in it.My teaching methods have been extremely helpful for the students find mathematics hard to understand. I readily get the problems of my students and intend to make the little concepts clear instantaneously.
I have a passion for teaching and I am happy to cater to any client's needs. I teach the material, but my teaching philosophy differentiates from most in that I prefer to focus on life skills that will turn my client into an open minded individual, prepared to tackle problems without relying on a tutor.
I don't have a fix learning structure and my teaching will be based on the students ranks and positions in the courses I teach. Previously, I went through their learning in school together and try to make them understand the subject better. If their learning is related to previous chapters, we will revise them together and slowly cover the chapter they learned at school on that day.
I am a Master of Engineering (Electrical) student at the University of Melbourne. I have 8 years of teaching experience in teaching Maths and Physics. I was a teaching assistant during my tenure of 1.5 years in IIT Kanpur, India.
My teaching method is so simple and very easy to understand. I explain in an interesting way that the student can understand the topic. I make the sums practical and the step by step procedures of solving the sum are clearly explained, so that it will be easy to the student to study.
You come first. That's my philosophy. Tutoring is always about the student. That's why I don't follow a set tutoring structure. I tailor my lessons to suit each student's abilities and ensure their understanding is at 100% before I move on to the next topic.
Before the lesson, I will gain a full understanding on my student's needs and what he/she aspires to achieve. I would also have done some preparation of the particular topic involved in the tuition prior to the tuition in order for maximum efficacy. I am friendly and easy to communicate with, so students will have no problem consulting with me.
I will be teaching from the basic aspects of the subject where the student can build up a strong foundation to solve any problem related to the subject. The critical thinking is very important in subjects like Mathematics and Physics where I will be doing tutorial questions, work book questions etc. to improve the ability of critical thinking of the student.

My lessons are geared towards students learning Math at the beginning level as well as advanced level. Students are re-explained the lessons, helped with homework difficulties and get to undertand in a logical way.
For physics and Math lessons I usually introduce the idea or concept to the student, mostly I relate the application it has in their day to day life. Then the student is introduced to problem solving techniques in that particular topic.
I based my classes on the topics given by each of the student's curriculum, given them the understanding and summary of what each topic is about. After grasping the idea, I will give them questions and ask them to finish them during the lesson. If needed, I will give them extra papers to be finished for homework.
I am usually a slow learner and therefore I know what it feels like to have the class zoom ahead while i try to catch up. Therefore, I plan on keeping a steady speed and make sure the student understands the content before moving on and eventually covering all key concepts.
"Friendly", "approachable" ,"enthusiastic", "interesting", "bad-ass in mathematics and science", these are probably the words you will think about me and my lessons. I strongly believes that the interaction between a tutor and a student is one of the most important factors in the tuition.
I'm outgoing and I know how to make math easy and understandable, I know how students think because I'm a student myself. You might think that's impossible that math can be smooth and easy, but I have spent years after school self-learning all the little explanations that come in the way of a student not understanding a subject.
I do teach together and individually. At first, I individually understand each student approach to the subject and provide suitable assistance and support to help them understand the concept in a much better and simpler way.
I like starting with a Road Map to establish where the student is and what we want to achieve. Then we have a frank discussion about the areas of weaknesses. The objectives are then set up: 1. Robust coverage of the weak areas through iterative review of those areas and maximum practice through lots of homework.
I'm enthusiastic about seeing students achieve! I start by asking the student about their strengths, weaknesses and interests, then I will try to taylor my lessons accordingly. I like to use a variety of activities that may include textbook exercises or practical applications.
I teach based on the foundation that if you understand the concepts in maths then doing the questions is about asking yourself what step do I need to do. When helping other students I make sure they actually no what each step does by asking them a question to make them think in a new perspective on the question.
I really enjoy studying mathematical and scientific subjects that involve problem solving. During my lessons, we will start with some background information behind the concept. Diagrams will then be illustrated on the board, linking them to the relevant formulas in the syllabus.
I am doing professional tutoring for couple of years with great success over student's improvement. I have even taught TAS teacher for improving concepts in general maths and civil engineering. Working with maths could b fun when you realise numbers can draw pictures for you. Maths is easy when it is done stepwise and with multiple perspectives and representations.
I prefer teaching the basics before the actual syllabus. I like to engage with the students to solve problems rather than me doing it myself. I do not believe in giving homework and prefer to allow students to work in classes only.
from the usual method, I adapt to many different methods based on my students. If everyone was to learn from the same method, then a classroom teacher would suffice. the usual method would be to break down a subject in several parts, introducing a student to these parts and then connecting these parts together, like a puzzle. though this approach is mostly used for science subjects.
After so many years of teaching I tailor my lessons to the needs of my students. I can help you to fill in the gaps, consolidate new work or simply hone for exams to ensure you reach your potential. If you are an IB student I am also very experienced in working with the Exploration (although I certainly won't do it for you I'll help you come up with a great idea).
My teaching methods are based on the cooperative learning model from Norman Green. My lessons are mostly problem solving infused and filled with exercises that are close to the everyday life of students. Every lesson is tailored to the individual needs of my students and I have proven success in realizing the potential of my students.
The essence of maths is not to make simple things complicated, but to make complicated things simple. I, as a tutor make maths look fun and easy for students who have difficulty in solving even the most basic questions of maths.
I am helpful and can provide the students with knowledge in many fields and have good communication with students can be in support at any time always my phone is available if there is a question or any thing that is not clear
