I like to tailor my classes to each person depending on what they would like to achieve with their Spanish. My first lesson usually consists of understanding what is your previous knowledge and what are the main areas you would like to focus on. I also like to know what are the ways you like to learn or find it easier to retain information.
I strongly believe that learning a language should be fun. Every student has a learning preference and the lessons will be based on that.
My teaching method is basic, I make it easy to adapt for anyone who wishes to learn..... but it works both ways, anyone wishing to learn must find their self confidence in order to make it happen.
¡Hola! :) My name is Iciar and I am a Spanish. I have 8 years of experience teaching private classes at ALL LEVELS and for ALL NEEDS (travel, work or enjoy learning Spanish). To be able to learn a language what you need is to have a good dose of MOTIVATION.
The lessons will be adapted to the students need. If the listening or speaking needs to be enforced we will work on that. Each student is different, so they should not be teach the same way. The classes will be dynamic and personalized.
My teaching method is flexible in terms of students needs and preferences. However, once I get to know the departing level I will organize a clear schedule so to get to the goal defined.
I am an enthusiastic and energetic teacher with a passion for languages, in particular the Spanish language and culture. I am very happy to offer my services and share my knowledge for students in the community.
I know that learning a new language can be challenging that is why I like keeping my lessons informal and relaxed. I really want my students to enjoy learning a new language! We will customize the lessons together according to your interests and needs.
My teaching method is through experiences, I like people to talk and listen and finally write correctly. I like to do practical exercises and work on vocabulary.
Hola a todos! Mi nombre es...
my methodology is based on knowing and deepening the grammar rules while learning vocabulary and pronunciation as well as explaining how are the cultures of the Spanish-speaking countries. They constantly test the topics seen to avoid forgetting them.
My method is to learn as much as possible by being able to understand what we have been taught. For this I provide them the tools with which they must be able to use their mind to solve problems and put into practice what has been studied. I try to make the class as practical and enjoyable as possible.
I base my first couple of classes with common everyday phrases, and common vocabulary such as numbers, colours, animals etc. Then I approach the concept of verbs, first I will teach the present tense, then the past tense, future tense and so on, as well as how to master the grammar; all while giving interactive activities and visual techniques to engage my students in better learning.
I am a woman trained under the main such as honestly and responsibility. I like to teach children from the age of 18 years, I have patience and love, to be a tutor you need vocation and love towards them.
My teaching practices as a Language Teacher are based on three main principles: firstly, that the ultimate goal of language learning is communication with both native and non-native speakers of the language. Secondly, that experiencing the language and reflecting upon it through the use of metalinguistic knowledge can be a valuable asset for non-native speakers to develop self-monitoring skills.
Language pedagogy has come a long way since the days when repetitive grammar-translation methods were regarded as the only way to learn. Today, task-based approaches are widespread everywhere, emphasising communication and the practical uses of language. "Languages cannot be taught, they can only be learnt.
I base my classes on what the student wants and needs. To teach a different language is better to understand what the student wants to learn and which is the best way for each one.
My teaching methodology is based on readings and speakings.
I usually like to understand first what the student is trying to learn, then plan a lesson, with examples and then guide the person while they do examples by themselves.
My teaching method is practical, we go straight to business. It is important however to have some basics written down first and learn new vocabulary as we go.
I like to start with some minutes of theory and then en each class, other minutes of practice with interactive activities.
My teaching method is mostly listening and speaking, I have a wide kwoledge of the spanish language (Spain and Latin american spanish)
My teaching method is through speaking, an excellent conversation is more useful than an email that you would use the orthographic corrections from your PC. The conversation will let you thinking in spanish, using fluid vocabulary.
My teaching methodology would be: Conversation and discussion! If you’re new with the language we will start with the basic
I am reliable, organized, punctual, friendly, I am to commit myself and my students, dynamic, responsability, honesty, diligent, positive attitude
My teaching methodology depends on the student. There are students that require a more playful method as others require a more strict method. Teachers must understand that people do not learn in the same way. In Colombia, because I was a prominent student in my career, I was a leader with my classmates, understanding that even spiritual motivation greatly influences learning.
Trato de compartir los conocimientos básicos y esenciales mediante la práctica.
My personal skills include having the ability encourage students to achieve their full potential, to be patient and to adapt to different types of environments and learning skills. I apply the communicative approach in my lessons which emphasizes interaction as a mean to achieve language competence.
Throughout the 4 years I have been giving tutoring lessons, I have discovered that the key element is communication. Sometimes the student does not feel confident to express the questions he/she has in the classroom, hence affecting his/her overall performance.
I choose different materials, such as language teaching books, videos or just personal knowledge. Usually I practice skills learnt in previous classes to see where we are standing, then I reinforce and add further to already taught skills. If not, we would go over new material. I make sure there is a written trace of all we do, so this can be developed further in the students personal time.
