I provide structured lectures with discussions and problem solving activities, comprehensive feedback and revision materials that aim to solidify students' understanding. I also incorporate videos, diagrams and illustrations which are important to clarify concepts and broaden ideas.
My name is Angela Perez, I am from Colombia, I am living in Williamstwon Melbourne. I love teaching and help people to reach their objectives, giving them the opportunity to communicate in spanish with natives.
My lessons are suitable for those who want to improve their spoken and written spanish. Mainly beginners and intermediate students. I have deep knowledge of the language and can help with vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. My teaching methods are focused on understanding the needs of the students, first of all, and then develop methods and exercises in order to let them improve.
-Fun teacher with 3+ years of experience in language teaching. -Every lesson will contain some information at the very beginning, and then just practice. -You only learn by practice, that is why my classes are carried out in a way in which you only care about using the language.
My teaching methodology is to activate the growth mindset- to allow individuals to consistently grow from their mistakes and to become the best learner they can. This mindset is the most positive technique to use, as students tend to become further confident in their abilities.
My teaching methodology is based on giving my students the necessary tools so that it can be an interactive class and learn through exercises and readings to learn all the linguistic aspects. My classes are based on focusing a specific topic, such as vocabulary, and develop a game or news that may be of interest to the child to acquire all those new words.
My teaching method is a combination of what is usually implemented in schools with a dynamic approach to the different topic of each subject.
My teaching method is based on materials provided by the official Dele examination programs. I consider myself enthusiastic and ongoing, with a friendly and fun approach to the learning methodologies. I am also very flexible towards the student/s needs, and I like to prepare my lessons based on the student strengths.
I like a to work in a fun and dynamic way to make learning easy and not tough as if you were in the school. We will focus on Vocabulary which is the basis of every language and Listening for the beginners, and Grammar, Reading and Speaking for those with prior knowledge.
I always try to blend the students' personalities and interests with their needs and curriculum-appropriate methods. When learning a language I think it's important to learn to apply it to concrete situations and to understand the practical use. Learning is not just about studying but it should be associated with fun and exciting activities.
My teaching method is based on teaching grammar with simple verbs applied to everyday life and in some cases as they change depending on each region of Mexico. Also explain in a simple and general way the pronunciation of the words.
Like in math, I like to approach my teachings with exercises and a lot of practice; Firstly, I teach the information, then I like to practice the pronunciation, which is important, lastly practice, practice and practice, mostly with games and conversations.
Speaking practice in different situations, to do it more real (day in a market, in a bar..) Writing practice with short and more complex sentences to understand the Spanish grammar (probably the most complicated part) Classes are adapted to the particular needs of the person.
I like to start my lesson an assess the level of student. According to that first assessment I like to plan and discuss with the student which is the best way to address its objective.
Hola hola! I'm a Journalist graduate from Barcelona, currently in Melbourne with a Work and Holiday Visa. I can help you improve your Spanish (if you know some basics), or teach you some if you never tried. I'm bilingual, my native languages are both Spanish and Catalan, and since I've been a kid I've studied English and a bit of French.
I want to make sure that you will learn based on your current level. For the first class I will mainly asses your current knowledge and I will test out what you have learned so far. I will as well reinforce that previous learning when necessary. Spanish is a passionate but complicated language and it's important to know how to spot basic and common errors made by learners.
My method of teaching includes a useful set of vocabulary to start off the class, common concepts that are necessary in everyday life, and writing exercises to get to know my students better. Also, whatever my students wish to learn, I will try to teach.
I like to make my lessons fun - I think it is important for students to enjoy themselves whilst learning and not get bogged down in too much grammar at the start. I tailor my lessons to every student and so will be able to help you out regardless of your level.
My teaching methodology is fun and interactive. I make students talk as much as possible, but in a playful way so they don't get tired. Also, in my classes, I encourage students to use their imagination and creativty and we use different materials to make it more fun.
I firmly believe that in order to learn spanish the best way is speaking with a native spanish speaking person (from Argentina!) I will guide you step by step in order to fastly learn skills and be able to handle conversations from the beggining!
I base my classes on active and fun learning, this means that everything we do is part of the learning process. For example, we may watch a video and analize it or write a song , playing games and so on ,so you have your own immersion in the language. And for that, these classes are completly in Spanish. We are going to learn the four elements : Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing.
First is to evaluate your level and individualise the lessons for a better teaching. Why do you want to learn spanish? For graduating? For a job? For travelling ? For finding a latin wife/husband? For fun? Talking is the best way to learn and having fun is the best way to remember so don't be scared to make mistakes ans let's go! I provide tools to learn, good spirit and patience.
I will make you a test to identify your spanish level so I can prepare lessons adapted to your needs. I am an excellent English speaker with a certification as an advanced student. I am a Engineer, actually I am studying for a degree.
I think the best way to learn a new language is to start speaking it. After you have gained some confidence in talking, we will continue with writing and reading. I always create a positive atmosphere so the students can feel comfortable and confident to make mistakes and learn from them.
I like to create all types of situations. I usually take people to the supermarket, the street, a park, at home anywhere and try to develop our spanish those places. No english permited! just talk, read and hear. I also a fan of books so we will be reading and talking about what it says and what do we understand from it.
I have a mixed approach that combines directed lessons with problem based learning. The lesson lasts 1 hour. We'll dedicate the first 20 minutes to the subject at hand and the last 40 to practice with situations of everyday life.
HOLA! Learn and practise Spanish at your own pace in a professional and fun way! I am an experienced tutor living in Melbourne and passionate with teaching and helping people to speak this beautiful language.
In regards to my teaching methods, I would be basing each of my classes on a different area for example: cultural, oral, written, etc. I will also schedule classes for any feedbacks or extra help if needed. In regards to me, i am a great listener and i have a lot of patience; which are good tools to teach.
The methodology I use is divided into two parts: 1. To learn in an easy and fun way , I use didactic games in which the students will talk and write, allowing them to improve significantly the vocabulary and the oral and written skills. 2. Use of reading and grammar exercises depending on the level of Spanish in which the student is.
I am from Perú, living with a work and holiday visa for a year, and I am open to give classes to practice speaking or grammar if you wish, I am very flexible on the structure depending on your level or what do you want to reinforce
